Thanks. I've been on several EE blogs before and they're all pretty much the same -- flame wars, insults, etc. -- so I generally avoid them, but I couldn't resist this one after reading the opening post about "pseudoscientific crap." So far, Gneiss2011, while occasionally trying to obfuscate, nit-pick, and change the subject, seems relatively open-minded. Trippy is a typical scientist wannabe -- slavishly regurgitating whatever dogmafood he's been fed to show how smart he is. So I ignore most of his posts, except the ones that are easy targets. I'm currently working on a new EE paper that addresses "the mass problem" head on, since that's ultimately what all of the EE critics fall back on whenever they can't make their case based on the geological facts, which is always. If you're writing something, I'll be happy to read it before you go public.
Welcome to the crowd. Trippy is a pain in the ass, and Gneiss2011 is a perverse that systematically ignore every arguments presented. You should ignore him. You apparently have a solid background in geology, and I'm looking for serious "colleagues", for critical discussions on different EE subjects, and hopefully to work on publishable stuff, Would you be interested?
