Sorry for such a long delay in responding to your 8/11 request. I have several 'ideas' on my EEMU Hypothesis webpage that might interest you . . . Goggle (search) for EEMU Hypotesis . . .and have a look. Also, I just posted to Sciforum that strings could possibly be 'twisted' similar to the familiar DNA helices . . . . perhaps the 'universe' gives us embedded hints ever so often . . . . Happy New Year and . . . Regards, Bill Mansker (wlminex)

Engell: Sorry for the response delay . . . been out of town . . .

Sorry . . . I'm relatively poor at math. I am hoping that someone better at math can evaluate my hypothesis. However . . . I think I can visualize 'processes' and I do have a vivid imagination! Thanks for your interest!

Can probably strike that last suggestion I just checked the site and it is a k through 12 level site. It probably does not get into the things you were interested in.

Engell, you might also look at this site, http://www.khanacademy.org/about, Khan Academy. It may help in the math up to a point. It may also not be advanced enough. I just ran across a mention of it on another site and have not looked at it closely myself. I don't know how advanced the math gets there.

Glad you liked it! . . . . I can't (won't?) do the math . . . I believe the universe is much simpler than the mathematicians would have us believe! Bill, S.S.U. (Senior Scientist of the Universe . . . tee hee!)

There is also another thing I should have probably mentioned. If you do feel that giving some personal info to an individual, like an e-mail address is necessisary use the Private Message feature in the Contact Info tab above. Messages like this one are still viewable by the public.

      Engell79,

To learn the math involved in both GR and QM I have no suggestions that don't involve a university or at least a specialized college. Some of it is really post graduate level math. String theory gets even more difficult as even some of the brightest don't really understand the math fully.

If you post what you are looking for in the on the forums, there are some folks out there who may be able to better help you or at least direct toward a better resource.

In the way of books for "interested" lay person's, there are at least a couple of authors that do a pretty good job without too much of the mathematics. Lee Smolin and Brian Green, both have books on the general area. Personally, I think Lee Smolin's, "The Trouble With Physics" is one of the best. To some extent it deals with the conflict between GR and QM to which I have referred.

The mathematics of string theory is way deep and very specialized.
