    I'm good, thanks.
I don't hang out on the net much anymore.

I may post some pics of my cat soon, though. I think you might like'm. =)

    Peace

    Hi, Enmos.
    Hope you're well.

  4. Do you know if you can post power point files in the albums section? And damn! You are a popular boy, over 22,000 visits, now I feel like another notch on your belt (just kidding). Do you have spider pets too?

    Nothing changes much.
The usual bunch of crackpots and genuine posters.

I think it's a minimum of one every two years. But, since it's part of the government mechanism they can ask for one any time they like.

Oh sorry: because I had to re-apply (after being told I could actually continue to claim until an appeal was heard, but it turned out it was treated as anew claim) I had to go for ANOTHER independent check but this doctor was more professional and sympathetic.

Back on benefit, yes. And fortunately back-dated, so I managed to clear my bills AND go shopping at Amazon ;)
Second opinion? Well I put in an appeal - which will be heard not sooner than today, in point of fact (1st March was the date given to me, IN NOVEMBER, for a potential vacancy). But I think they're now ignoring my appeal due to the fact that I'm back on benefit.

    Okay, take care.

They don't believe my doctor. Well they do to an extent but if it's a long-term illness they send you for an independent check. And mine check happened to coincide with the new government policy of reducing the number of people getting benefit. The guy that interviewed wasn't interested in whether I really was ill or not so much as finding a way to declare me fit. To the extent of lying in his report.

I was declared "fit for work" after an interview lasting a total of !8 minutes! (which just happened to be on a "good day" for me"). They stopped my sick pay and it took 3 months to restart a new claim. During that time I had to phone and beg for a Crisis Loan every single week and got ~£50 (each time) to pay my bills: food, electricity and gas - all in the middle of the coldest winter since 1940!
