You then choose 'view image' rather than 'view page'. Then you copy what it says up at the top of the screen in that WWW. address box thingy. I don't know what it's called - always at the top of the page. For example: http://www.georgianjewelry.com/system/item/12152/32907_large.jpg - This jpg is what you paste into the 'insert image' box. Then you preview post. Sometimes you will see that it won't take, or that your image is not where you want it in the text, and you can 'monkey' with it some more. Is this all clear? It's not as hard as it sounds. What I would like to know is how instead of placing clickable hperlink web addresses, some people can just put 'click here' or write whatever and it's in blue and is really a hyperlink to the web address they are referring you to. Maybe you can ask someone about that , and tell me. The only guys I know here who do it are the complete asshole trolls who I never talk to anyway. Good luck.
You know. I was thinking of writing you a PM doing just that, coz I can see you don't know how,but want to. So tell me if this is not clear. When you reply to a post click the'go advanced' button in the lower right of the screen. It's next to 'post quick reply'. Then you'll see on the same line bold, italics, underline, but to the right some icons. The fourth from the right is 'insert image'. You probably know all this. The trick is once the'insert image' box comes up, choose 'from URL', then either before or after you paste in the jpg. image UNclick the 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' box. This is the key. Oh, and maybe you don't realize. When you find an image you like must click it. On Window 7, like I got it, the image appears on a black band. to be continued
I crack you up? Ask MacGyver - he always says I'm Sci's chief "woo woo wrangler". Everyone has to have a hobby :D
