Hello treat this lightly: How do some of you manage to make a thread which attracted a lot of posts? Just asking, even though I may or may not apply that, because threads I make often last not too long before it dsappears from the surface of sciforums....
Gendy and I debated for like 3 pages, and thousands of words in one thread. Mephura may have been in there too, but he always takes gendankens side, so it was like just two members arguing.
If you have something to say, and you want feedback on it, post it. If a thread you make doesn't last long, then you take whatever feedback you got from it, and live with it. Usually the longest threads are games. Riddle thread, jokes, quotes, and word games. A little less longer, but but still pretty long are flames. Once in awhile, a you get a pretty long thread that turns out to be a good debate on a specific topic.
I don't always take her side. Ok, most of the time I do, but we like going at it from time to time. BTW, congrats on the dollar.
a long thread in the biology forum requires such wonderful topics as: human races (biologist will tell you they don't exists, but the trolls take over because there are races in trollland). evolution (preferably state that it is not a valid theory because on one particular religious webiste there is a picture of human footprints next to a dinosaurs. ) Homosexuality (state that homosexuality is in the genes, or the opposite, that it is learned and can be unlearned. Watch the gay replies flood in). DO NOT POST ANYTHING SCIENTIFICALLY INTERESTING! that will lead to a short thread.
I'm a fired scientist, so I'm somewhat scientific.... *duh* *hit me* *again* edit: those were hoax....
