I used to buy all her lingerie from a store called bras n things which had a really good range of stuff and it was really good quality and not to expensive. Anyway so i go in there and they have this georgious corset thing in red and black but they only have it in 10-12 with 1 singular 14. Now even IF PB could get into the 14 it was only a 14 B and she really needs a 16 C. So i asked the women did they have any others in a 16 because they had a few different types of corsets and PB and i both love them on her. "Sorry sir, we dont have any for a 16 at the moment" Thinking that it might just be that these had been popular at this store i asked her did any of the other stores have any "no sorry, none of the stores have any corsets in 14-16 this season" Concidering that most women are NOT 10-12, they are 14-16 why is there almost no nice lingerie ANYWHERE for that group. I gritted my teeth and actually looked at some of the "plus size" stuff and its all discustingly UGLY. to show what i mean this is the only "top" listed as plus size for bra's n things on there website http://www.bnt.com.au/products/Plus_Size/Plus_Size/3184/Zebralicious_babydoll_and_vstring/ It REALLY pisses me off, that a store which surposedly caters to "real women" has NOTHING in a real womens size So anyway i walk out of there all pissed off and think, well if they wont sell stuff they can just go bankrupt and i will try somewhere else. I tried Big W, Kmart and Target and there idea of lingerie consists of grandma undies (see briget jones diary) and either white or tan floppy bras. Not one thing in any of them actually looked good So i drive around for a hour thinking i might find another store, nope not one. So i decide to try sex shops and all they have is over priced CRAP that would fall apart at the first wash let alone having sex For a country which SURPOSEDLY has more sex shops than we do coles supermarkets there was NOTHING at all.

no, i dont buy stuff online (and it wouldnt get here when i want it anyway) No im just fucked off that these stores dont seem to think women exist who are 14-16 and if they do we will just throw a sheet over them and call that lingerie
Asguard the reason why the stores do not sell lingerie for women of greater BMI, is because the probability of need of lingerie for such women is low as they are not in great success with men and thus do not need such clothes of appeal.
HAHAHHA your kidding right? Size 14-16 is NORMALL healthy size. Besides which this is ADELAIDE, the ratio of women to men is so low that even a women whos size 26 is probably getting laid. for your interest i AU\UK 12-14 (bust 36-40, waist 28-31, hips 38-41). That seem big to you? (oh i think that one was cupless hence it has a bust size)

HA, my sister used to be a ballerina, she hasnt got an ouce of fat on her yet she is a 14-16 because she actually has HIPS (hence she went into physio rather than continued with ballet) I know your probably thinking US sizes which have a size 0 and double 0 as being model thin, here that is equivlant to maybe an 8, could be 10-12. Thats the super thin stave myself model sizes.

Asguard, Why don't you want to shop online for it ? I always find screaming deals ( I usually buy her stuff for Christmas, her birthday, my birthday ) Many of the shops have the same exact item from size 4 to plus size in fact, my wife is not a 14-16 and half the time we are like, oh wait that won't fit because the ad is for 14-16 or plus size. I always use Victoria Secret and wait for their clearance sales and can buy 5 or 6 things for the price of 1 or 2, if you spend just enough usually $100 they ship for free. Check the sales, order them ahead of time, keep them hidden and then break them out for a suprise. That's what I do. Good luck.
how the hell can you be a size 4? (concidering you said 14-16 im ASSUMING your using Australian standeds not US) even an 8 is cloths rack thin (WAY to thin) Anyway the problem with shoping online for stuff like this is well to start with you cant get it properly fitted like the clothing stores will. Futher more you cant see the exact product, all you get is a piture which MIGHT or might not look like how it will be when you get it and lastly you cant see the quality and if you dont like it when it arives you cant just take it back There actually was a lingerie shop which catered EXCLUSIVLY to men. Not in the sence that it was stuff for men to wear but rather that it was designed to make people like my brother who are uncomfertable shopping for it feel at ease. The ad said to grab one of your wife's (GF, partner ect) bras and undies and bring them in. When you arive they give you a beer and will help you go through the stuff (with a heep of other guys) without you having to worry about sizes. Its a great idea but it was so long ago i herd the ad i cant rember where the hell it was. Asguard, No I am using US standards, sorry. So size 4 in us is XS to XXS. 14-16 would be L to XL or plus size. They have conversion charts on the sites. I know what size fits her, I never have a problem and victoria secrets stuff is sexy, caters to what men want for their women without the high price especially if you buy on clearance. don't forget that US sizes are different to the r.o.w. a 14-16 in the UK (and maybe AU?) is 12-14 in US sizes.
