i dont like being called a hoodie, its kind of offensive, why do we always stereotype people into nice little groups and label them all the same?

because i talk a certain way and dress a certain waym it doesent mean i am going to steal your mobile phone, stab or shoot you,

when i wear a shirt and dress smart people look at me with respect, when i wear my jeans and a hoodie i get looked at like i am a criminal.

is it fair for people to judge everybody the same just because of what they wear and how they talk?

not everybody who wears a hoodie is a gang member who will rob you and kill you,

    peace.

I think it's more the attitude than the clothes. When people go out all confident and happy, no one usually bothers them. But if they go out with any kind of negative emotion, (whether consciously or not) feeling sad/lonely/depressed/frustrated/angry/?, people can pick up on that.

Next time you go out in your hoodie try to consciously track your thoughts/ feelings/attitude.

I really think when you are happy & confident, it radiates to other people.

i agree with the emotional expression being picked up by other people, i always tell people that in real life, im not sure its always rubbing off on people though, but it is sure picked up and acknowledged.

but over in england especialy london at the moment, among the "regular" people there is a fear of hooded people, or people dressed in a certain way, not just the attitude,

people automaticaly assume if your dressed in a hoodie you are a criminal, its media influenced mostly, and the fact that alot of people in gangs wear hoodies here and commit alot of crime,

but that has turned into a mass epidemic of people fearing anybody in a hoodie,

    peace.

Oh. I wasn't aware of that. Hmmm. You could wear a tie over your hoodie.

Then you would just look like a dork. Unless they were dress socks.

I'm a hoodie, and I am offended when people come up to me calling me notahoodie. Just because I talk and act a certain way doesn't mean I am not going to rob your jewelry at gunpoint.

hoodies are desgined for hiding your face, why would you want to hide your face?

they scare people, i know they scare me, (but i have other reasons to be scared of the hoodie generation).

Well, these things happen when you depend on the government for your livelihood.

The Hooded Man! (Insert the song by Clannad for those old tv series)
Maybe there is a hoodie in modern England that robs only the rich and gives back to the poor!

Yes. Let's all get a real job and be a productive member of a oppressive society. And pay taxes pretending you are not the one that really depends on the 'government' for livelyhood. LMAO.

So a guy wearing a hoodie in like 80f temps and just loitering around aint fishy.
As for the language i still have to work out how many meanings the (f) word has, it seems to be able to take the place of every second word in some subcultures.

What would happen if everyone had your ideals and tomorrow, we all decided to ask the government for money?

Actually, that wouldn't work... because the government requires people to WORK to give YOU money. Someone has to be there to sign the checks. Of course, then there are people that must work at the bank that holds the money you are about to receive. If more people had you "ideal," then there would be less money to give you.

    Grow up.
