well i was about to close my pc and so i ran ccleaner.
i was kinda absent minded(like always) and accidentally checked the buttons-'hotkey uninstallers' & 'IIS files' for cleaning.

but after the cleaning was done i thought may be it wasn't such a good idea to clean them since i dindn't know what those things are.
So now i am worried.Answer me please--

What are those things -hotkeys and IIS files?(in simple terms)

Was it safe to delete them?it probably wasn't needed to delete them isn't it?

i hear that it may cause problems for me to uninstall IE7?
but you know i could still find IE7, WMP11 .. at control panel>add-remove programs.Which means i can still uninstall them right?

it created a lot issues in ccleaner.i fixed them.does that mean they wont cause any problems further?

finally,is there any way to restore them ?And will it be needed?

    ccleaner doesn't uninstall programs.
i don't know what IIS is or the other thing is but cclear only gets rid of logs and other stuff.

    a word of caution:
if you use zone alarm DO NOT clean your C:/WINDOWS/TEMP directory.
zone alarm stores important files there and if deleted you will screw up your firewall.
if you want you can manually delete all files with the .gid extension, and all files that start with ~ (tilde) from the temp directory.
