Bebelina 10-29-01, 03:17 PM But Shopenhauer???? The pessimist???? :D :D :D Get a grip of yourself! :D ....:) Twilight 11-07-01, 11:04 AM I read some of Schopenhauer's writtings, so if you want any objective answers you may ask me. rde 11-07-01, 02:49 PM Originally posted by Twilight I read some of Schopenhauer's writtings, so if you want any objective answers you may ask me. How do you pronounce 'Schopenhauer'? Twilight 11-08-01, 01:24 AM Seems like we lost you..?? Still, if you opened the thread... I'm wondering what is your opinion about Schopenhauer's definition of religions ("religions are the metaphysics of the crowd") ? And rde, what did you REALLY want to say? MarlonsUniverse 01-11-06, 04:28 AM Talk about lost.....it took me 4 years to get back to you. Are you still there? Spectrum 01-11-06, 04:38 AM I think it's pronounced Shope-en-hower. water 01-11-06, 05:07 AM Wow. This is probably the oldest resurrected thread, ever. Cyperium 01-11-06, 11:43 AM Probably the longest time it has taken for the threadstarter to answer too :) beyondtimeandspace 01-11-06, 11:55 AM Umm... hi... and.... welcome.:p MarlonsUniverse 01-11-06, 01:37 PM Yes the pronounciation is correct I do believe as previously posted. I only found my post via a google search and suddenly I remembered why I'd joined this group - because I wanted to talk with like-minded individuals! Glad to see people are here! I've been reading Schopenhauer's Prize Essay on the Freedom of the Will. Has anyone else here read it? It's so mind-boggling you have to take notes. |
