    A Heads Up email solves that - doesn't it?

    Most of the time most of the text of the post is there in the email

    Media posted in the Post Whatever thread does not travel in the Heads Up so as you mention need to go by who posted

    The fuss about short vowels:

    there is a vowel - there is a syllable (a vowel makes a syllable);

    short vowels do not make syllables - short vowels are part of a syllable;

    - - -

    Let's take 'e':

    it works as a letter in a word;
    it works as a sign in a word (the same as 'u', 'h', ... do);
    /it is pretty much like a zero in a number ('word')/
    ...

    -

    let's take 'u':

    /'e' - soft (front), not rounded;
    /'u' - hard (back), rounded)/
    //soft sign - hard sign//

    -ge vs -gu;
    -ce vs -cu/-qu;
    ...

    'e' and 'u' are opposites: open, front ('soft'), unrounded - close, back ('hard')), rounded;

    'e' and 'u' (, and ...) are signs and letters in English.

    Syllables:
    - leveled, stressed, reduced;
    - odd, even;
    - silent syllable ' (e - soft)

    Reduced syllables are the even ones.

    - - -

    the /ði:/
    1 syllable (odd)

    'the /ðə/
    the 1st syllable is ' (odd); the 2nd syllable is the (even)

    -

    hotel

    ho-
    the 1st syllable, leveled

    -tel
    the 2nd syllable, stressed

    ho'tel = ho + ' + tel (3 syllables, the 2nd is ')

    the 1st ho- (odd)

    the 2nd ' (even)

    the 3rd -tel (odd)

    -

    George

    G''org'

    G' + ' + or + g'

    /' is a soft silent syllable/

    So, I purchased a necklace online and it arrived yesterday. It looks exactly like the pics displayed on their website, but the pendant is only made for that chain. The “bale” (loop that attaches the pendant to the chain) is large enough to take another chain that I was hopeful of pairing with it, but the pendant won’t come off because the hole to attach the clasp, is too large. Why do jewelry companies do this? That’s a rhetorical question but I’m just venting.

    I’ll still give this necklace five stars because it’s not their fault that I was hoping to change out the chain. That’s the only thing about shopping online; you can’t inspect what you’re purchasing.

    I'm juggling on Amazon, over a lab set -thinking of distillation, and a billion other variables.

    But...

    It's not like I have so much time. To make things and give them to them -to make them shut up. Because I might forget taking my medication.

    Essential oils are different blends of oils that offer “aroma therapy.” I have an oil diffuser and typically my choice of oils are sandal wood and lavender. Both are calming and just create a “mood” for reading and meditation. You mix a few drops with water as they’re too strong on their own.

    I say - buy the lab set and the diffuser with some oils. Diffusers aren’t expensive at all, I think you’d enjoy having one. I was on the fence but glad I bought it. (I wouldn’t buy a pack of 38 oils though, until you try one or two to see how you like it.) Not everyone enjoys diffusers, because of allergies, etc…

    Not a fañ of diffusers

    Heating up oil and spraying into the air just so the room smells nice ummm why?

    Apart from the oils activating the olfactory nerves for smell some of the oil will be going down into the lungs

    Not much, but you will not need much in the tiny air sacs, alveoli, to disrupt the moist environment of lung where the oxygen / carbon dioxide exchange takes place

    I used to buy incense sticks in Bali but didn't burn them

    Our of the package they gave off enough aroma without the burning

    Yea, I have done my research. Finding organic essential oils is key, brands that aren’t mixed with chemicals. And add only a few drops to 1/4 cup of water. But, if you suffer from asthma, etc…then diffusers should be avoided. I wouldn’t use one for more than an hour or two per day.

    How is this any worse than any of the thousands of other (chemical) substances that we breathe into our lungs every second of every day of our lives? They all have the potential to clog up our lungs.

    I’m thinking tonight will have a starry sky, since the humidity is low and the sky is clear today. Wishing …

    I saw Jupiter and Saturn and a few stars last night.
