?

Where did the first true form of intelligence probably come into existence?

  1. Four dimensional space - time probably less than five billion years ago

Possibly. The number of serious science contributors has dropped, over the last five or so years, to a handful. I belong to other science forums where the same applies. I suspect many people have gone over to social media for discussions of this kind, but as I'm a social media refusenik I have no way of verifying the hypothesis.

My previous comment was in error. I'm stuck at home, suffering from a severe* cold and boredom, commenting on several forums on my phone with several tabs open and the "on the way out" comment was meant for another site. There is a topic I'm tempted to open when I have a bit more energy.

    *Wife's opinion may differ.

    Intelligence

Intelligence has been defined in many ways: the capacity for abstraction, [logic]
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abstraction

Intelligence is most often studied in humans but has also been observed in both non-human animals and in [plants], despite controversy as to whether some of these forms of life exhibit intelligence.[[1]]
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant_cognition

Intelligence in computers or other machines is called artificial intelligence.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence

It is clear that the term intelligence has abstract qualities in addition to its application to anthropological meaningful awareness and understanding.

With the addition of the prefix “quasi”, the analogy is perfectly suitable to describe the mathematical deterministic aspects of universal mechanics.

I would not apply it to "energy" as that is described as a dynamic force, rather than a controlling (logically permittive/restrictive) principle.
