This is an updated article similar to the one on String Theory that I quoted in post number two on page one of this discussion.

    The Elusive Theory of Everything
Physicists have long sought to find one final theory that would unify all of physics. Instead they may have to settle for several

I read perhaps three decades ago that about thirty percent of published authors are manic depressive or borderline bi-polar.

A significant percentage of people who are manic depressive have had at least one or two unusual experiences during their lifetimes that could assist them to become published authors of science fiction, parapsychology or pseudoscience.

I have reasons to suspect that some of those unusual experiences are a tapping into understanding or knowledge that will be taken for granted within a century or two, (once the rather extreme cognitive dissonance that they produce in ninety nine point nine percent of us is finally understood).

It sure is! The book "Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain" that I read back in the 1990's was impressive. Due to his friendship with the gifted Wolf Messing Stalin led Russia to research some branches of parapsychology that the USA, publicly at least, fell far behind on.
