Yeah I don't know where you're getting that the Sumerians are some mystery that is kept secret from people. My world history classes as far back as middle school had an entire section on the Sumerians and Babylonians, covering their society, religion, mythology, and culture. High school was no less inclusive, and college has entire courses on ancient near eastern history.
    This ain't new.

The “God of the bible” is as the old as people have been calling it “the god of the bible.
God, on the other hand is not influenced by the passing by of time.
Come on Dave, you comprehend this.

We know the Sumerians created just about every useful thing, inventing 500+ beer recipes. Why isn't this the only thing you study? Don't brush it off as it isn't a new thing, look at it as the oldest(the garden of Eden is in their creation story, did the bible copy off it? Create a new religion? mythical texts or tablets. 3400 yrs old tablets. 2700 yrs bible, which wasn't written and the stone of the ten commandments seemingly not in existence. what proof? We'll take those nomads word for it.

    I don’t know.
I’m just starting to really take these ancient civilisations seriously as in looking into them in more detail. They all interrelate as far as I can tell. But due to their different aspects they seem isolated from each other.
The idea of the universe being 6-10,000 years old, to me, is the beginning of a new age, not the creation of the entire cosmos.
The bible, straight off the bat, says that the cosmos was created “in the beginning”.
When you think about it, that’s correct.
It’s probably inconceivable to our understanding, to put into human years, when the beginning was.
But please keep those vids coming, and any links, or insights you may have regarding this remarkable, or any other ancient civilisation.

The age of the earth according to the bible is 5700 or something you can count the ages of the bible through the genealogy.

That is the idea of some, not all, Christians.
The bible clearly states that it was created “in the beginning”.
Also. The bible isn’t a “Christian” book, even though all the separate book were chosen, and compiled, and put together by folks calling themselves Christians.
If you are able to take Christian ideology out of the bible, and compare it with other scriptures and ancient cultural understanding, you could easily come to a different understanding. IOW, if you’re not a Christian, there is no need to to read it from a Christian perspective.

So you don't think the bible meant 24 hour days? Pathetic if you do.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole... quite a few hours I think. Can't remember but it's a great story.

    No.
24 hours is definitely a human perspective of a day. Other creatures may have different perspectives.
In Vedic cosmology, Lord Brahma, the first being. His day, is comprised of 311 trillion human years. I’m not saying that is true, or making an argument. But it kind of gives a whole different perspective. Do you know what I mean.

No. It would mean the bible is not compatible or reliable for basis explanations. If Paul's right, God is not a God of confusion. It's obvious. Based on light/dark.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean.
Are you saying the Vedic cosmology is incompatible to the bible?
If yes, can you give a reason why?
Regarding the Paul quote. I agree. God is not about confusion. God is pure knowledge.
Knowledge is not a friend of confusion.
Confusion arises due to a lack of knowledge

I don't pay attention to cosmology but I do know quite a few Seeks, who practice Sikhism.

I don't think the Bible mentions anything about 24 hours, but it does say a morning and an evening was considered a day. Obviously, those who wrote the Bible weren't there to see creation unfold, but they wrote it in such a way so that it would make sense to those reading it such that a day was considered a day by normal standards.

That’s quite possible, but it is highly doubtful.

In Peter 3:8-10 it states... But beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the the a Lord one day [is] as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Lord Brahmas 12 hour day, is said to equal 311 trillion years, and the same for his 12 hour night. The day of Lord Brahmas day is said to be simply the exhalation of breath from God, and the duration of of Lord Brahmas night is the inhalation.

Not arguing that this is true. Just giving an idea of a possible bigger picture.

No, it’s the most likely explanation, that those who wrote “day” meant it in a manner that would be understood by those reading it.
Which means that not only can can God do as much in a day as it would take us a thousand years, but is also eternal such that a thousand years seems to him as a day would seem to us. This doesn’t mean that the word “day” means anything other than as would be understood by the reader.
To say that “but it is highly doubtful” is just an attempt to fit things not to what is reasonable but to your own agenda. And you judge things as doubtful if they do not fit that agenda. You unfortunately thus distance yourself from being a judge of what might be considered reasonable or not.

I have my opinion, and you have yours.
From what I can see it means that a thousand years from our perspective, is but one day from the Lords perspective. But your free to see it how you like.
Thank you for your 2 cents bro.
    All the best.
