I have a love/hate thing going on with Spotify.

When I hear a song I like, I want to add it to my List so I keep hearing it. Sometimes I'm given the option of
"Your Library", sometimes it's "Your Favorites" and sometimes it's "Your Play List". Is there a difference?

There are a LOT of "Play" buttons on its interface. Often very hard to figure out which ones do what.

It has the most literal Search engine. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Google, but it can't make any kind of "sounds like" guesses.

Do artists/songs fall off? There's an artist's song that I listened to a lot and now doesn't come up. (Gina Clowes "Puppet Show"). If so, this is alarming. How do I keep music in perpetuity? Do I need to buy an iPod or something?

Your library is all of the songs that you've chosen to save from your play lists. For favorites, you have to mark as favorites, so they stand out. Songs do sometimes ''fall off,'' but really it's Spotify removing them because the artist may not want to be associated with Spotify anymore.

Personally, I dislike Spotify. It's too glitchy, and I don't feel it's all that user-friendly. I have an Apple watch and prefer Apple music downloaded, I've had no issues, and prefer scrolling through new songs, as opposed to making play lists.

What do you mean by this? Surely my playlist is songs I've chosen to save from listening to other music.
And I have a group called "Liked From Radio".
And the button next to a playing song says 'Save to your Liked Songs'.

Next to any song in a list I'm listening to, there is a '. . . ', and under that are the options 'Save to Liked Songs' and 'Add to Playlist'.

I believe Spotify updated and added some new features last year, such as making it easier to access ''liked'' songs in one's library. I'd consider ''your library'' a catch all for your playlists, liked songs and favorites, all in one place. The challenge I find with Spotify is songs from a particular artist that I may like, but don't like all of his/her songs, end up under ''liked'' songs because I like the artist.

Can I access Spotify with the same ten-foot pole that I use to access Facebook and Twitter?

Just found out she's reverted to her birth name, Furtado. No wonder she's not showing up as Clowes...
