"U" as in NOT a meteorite, the planet Venus, a jet seen from the rear, swampgas, a weather balloon, a whale, or a flock of seagulls.

That doesn't mean you know what it is. Ease up on the disingenuousness, you're not even slightly good at it.

I have no idea what a ufo or a uap is. Neither do you. But I certainly know it isn't a mundane object.

So, what looks like a window, is a window according to MR

You need to look up the definition of "certainly". If you have no idea what it is then you can't rule out mundane.

But I have to say there has been a confirmed UFO strike recently.

Sure I can. An object that has no jet flare or wings and that accelerates suddenly to supersonic speeds and stops on a dime and changes direction instantly is no mundane object. There is nothing that can fly like that in the mundane world.

That you know of. Now you've demonstrated that you know fucking everything, but in the real world, where the rest of us live, that's not the case.

I know what exists in the mundane world. Don't you?

Do you know EVERYTHING that exists in the mundane world and can you recognize EVERYTHING in the mundane world when you see it?

Yes I can. That's the benefit of a 21st century education. If it is not known yet, then it isn't a part of the mundane world. It's by definition extramundane.

I'm not interested in your 12th C. education.

Doesn't sound like a very thorough report. Got a link?

If it makes the Navy look bad, then it didn't happen?

Got a lot of confidence in your armed forces reporting things accurately and fairly, have you?

Is that in the official report? Got a link?

What does the "U" stand for in UAP?

No? So not unidentified after all, but partially identified? They know definitely what it was not, but not what it was?

Is all this in the report? Got a link?

Partially identified object, then. Maybe you need a better acronym (PIFO?, PIAP?)

The thing on the IR video sure looks like jet flare. The wings, not being hot, wouldn't necessarily be visible on IR.

As for the alleged accelerations and speeds, all of that is questionable.

No. The world is a big, complicated place.

Also, previously you have suggested that some UFOs might be top secret aircraft or the like. I think you'll agree those would be "mundane", or is a top secret aircraft a paranormal phenomenon by your definition?

You're also assuming that you can instantly recognise all mundane phenomena for what they are, no matter the quality and availability of evidence. You can't do that, so why pretend you can?

Thorough reports don't report on the bullshit accounts.

    Yes I do.

    Look it up.

Unidentified. As in an unidentified aerial phenomenon.

You're confusing me with Yazata. I have never suggested some UFOs might be top secret aircraft.

No, not overtly, just quibbling and babbling, and industrial strength "wink, wink, nudge, nudge".

Unidentified as in not identifiable as anything known at all. That's the standard definition of a ufo I've posted here about 20 times already:

"The USAF defines a UFO as: Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object."(USAF Regulation 200-2)
