First the definition of beauty: it's the quality of some beings to produce on us a feeling of pleasure to be contemplated.

It's got a large subjective component to it.

your attachment of the physical compliance to the human form is a form of obsessive behaviour
your need to reason that is a process of attempted self cleansing of the guilt process that you feel toward de-humanising someone.

you cant wash your guilt away.

did you get permission from those 2 women to use their personal pictures on this message board ?

now who is not keeping it real ?

you need to start your thread header by defining the psychopathic distribution between living animals, human sexuality and concepts of material beauty and acclimatized interactive self association

you are deliberately trying to blur the lines by posting a polarizing aspect of non human sexual and intellectual emotional interactive association of the inner-self in a material context to interpersonal co-habitation.

    keep it real !

assuming it was allowed in the site rules
why not post a hard core porn picture and ask if it is beautiful ?
and place it next to a picture of a perfect cube ?

if your choice is self discovery you need to define your terms rather than attempt to bend all reality to your assumed starter theory for self actualization.
    (
this thread is a welcome distraction)

can we post hard core porn pictures ?

(im getting ready to post some hard core porn pictures to see who thinks they are equally beautiful)

    Out of topic.

The theme of this thread is: is beauty objective or subjective ?

    lol
now your trolling your own bias

you posted pictures of girls and then inferred sexual co-habitation

    thats clearly trolling
trolling because your freaking out at the thought of hard core porn being defined in your own reality as a sense of self reflective beauty
    i get it
    thats ok
but your still showing your clear bias

care to re-name the thread topic ?

why not pictures of boys instead of girls ?

whats really lurking under the profile ?

you want to play at everybody get emotionally naked while you parade around in a disguise ?

    eye of the beholder-------------------subjective
some may not find my beloved spouse to be beautiful
    but
    I've grown accustomed to her face;
when at a gathering, and I scan the room, when my eye alights upon her, I feel good.
    and then
there are somewhat universal standards which echoe our ancient past-----that which seems like good breeding stock is attractive,---
-which may mean that other guys will find your sister to be much more of a turn on than can you.

Mythological truth compliments an abundance of truth, roughly speaking.

That's not a particularly good definition. However...
The concept of beauty is objective in that all or nearly all human beings share the same general idea of what is beautiful. (Other species have their own ideas. A beautiful sea lion probably wouldn't appeal to a jaguar - no, not even as potential food.)
Humans, having decent eyesight, a complicated brain, large memory cache and insanely convoluted cultural associations, have a huge array of classifications for beauty. Natural beauty; beauty in art; beauty in design, in engineering, mathematics, performance, word composition, food items, character, flora and fauna, body presentation - and members of their species, which is further subdivided into categories of particular interest, each with its own criteria.
Even so, we have a surprising degree of consensus in almost every category. In a member of our own species, whether for mating purposes or not, we appreciate symmetry, robust health and vivacity. In all the other categories, too, you can enumerate the characteristics most everybody likes - or you wouldn't know what pictures to use as examples.
The subjective aspect of beauty is a matter of detail and psychological conditioning.

    lol touche !

easy manifest physical body shape is the USA African American desire for a big bum
soo much that many pay millions of dollars to plastic surgeons to make their bums even bigger when traditional concepts define slimmer looks as being more commonly desirable.

but then there you have it
    desire vs beauty
who can tell the difference ?

is mainstream perception of beauty hard wired into the sexual desire ?(i am posing a discussion point not expressing any lack of opinion, i have an extensively considered opinion)

(i am expecting a mod to lock this thread when they find it considering the personal slander and use of copyrighted pictures defaming someone as ugly)
i find that very disrespectful and aligns to closely to online bullying

regardless of the thread author using face tune to quantify a socially offensive depiction of a persons value.

Embodying the Logos differentiates into the mythos of metaphorical substrates.

I don't want to get any more specific because there are many who troll on here and I don't want to give them valuable information.

The beauty theme is very complicated. It is a relative concept. The aesthetic evaluation of a person depends on their tastes, culture, sex, religion, etc. There are people who consider themselves ugly. On the contrary, other people reach narcissism.

But, it is evident that there is a physical beauty and a spiritual beauty.

Spiritual beauty is composed of positive values: justice, honesty, goodness, altruism, sociability, truth, responsibility, etc

Although we cannot have a measure of beauty, we can establish a gradual scale of this quality:

    1- Very ugly
    2- Ugly
    3- Intermediate
    4- Beautiful
    5- Very beautiful
