i find excel can be a pain in the ass often when opening stored docs when you already have it open.
it is buggy programing which is probably facilitated by windblows

someone from windblows probably needs to tell exell to sort their shit out

there is critical level coding that dominates the system base software in their infinite wisdom at "making things easy" and probably syncing things.

are you running 'what-eva version 10 plus painpointOH" ?

you cant fix it
you can only work around while you throw your laptop at the wall

have you asked for T2 IT help desk to escalate your issue with needing an onsite technician to "turn it off then on again" ?

Last estimate I ran across was that allowing Microsoft to dominate the software market has cost the US between 1% and 4% of its GDP - minimum. That was several years ago - it got worse after that.

Millions of people have had to wait on or deal with Microsoft's buggy, half-assed, beta-released software - for decades now. Imagine the side effects of that level of dysfunction having become the business standard (to the point that hardware was (and is?) being designed to be "microsoft reliable" - that is, to malfunction just infrequently enough that the user would not be able to distinguish its malfunctions from the normal glitch rate of Microsoft software.)
