One definition of trolling is an attempt to incite argument, by making deliberately inflammatory statements.

The question of what God might be is only meaningful to someone who believes God objectively exists. Otherwise, he's a creation of humankind.
So, we'd have to start there.

Do you want to start with whether you believe in God and we can go from there?

The linked meme-fest essentially argues that God (mostly the God of the bible) is unreasonable, nasty, evil and is setting human beings up to fail. Personally, I don't think sticking the "troll" label on that adds anything important, and I'd say that this departs from the usual meaning of "troll", as used on the internet.

As with many internet memes, people who already agree with the memes will have a chuckle, and those who disagree will likely be annoyed. If the intent of the person/people posting the memes was to annoy religious people, then it is those posters who are the most immediately relevant trolls, I'd say.

Then, of course, we get to davewhite04, and ask why he chose to propagate these particular memes.

I generally hate memes, but these point out some of the many self contradictions inherent in J/C/I theology. I find the major ones to be compelling enough to say with confidence that such a God as described in those texts doesn't exist. Of course I remain unconvinced that any God exists.

such mainstream (religious targeted)memes tend to pander to pre existing belief.
they do not gain sales territory unless they are telling the sheep what they already believe to be true
so its all most often a great deal of bullshit

virgin mary in a condom is a good example of what a true meme is
most memes endorse pre existing concepts of good Verses evil to reinforce already accepted god things and evil things
it allows a soft sell to the quasi believers who do not wish to sound like they are insulting Christianity yet lack the intellect to comprehend what religion is.

sheep like middle of the road memes that reinforce current ignorance
memes are mostly created to seek Ego and popularity aka money

grumpy cat is an exception R.I.P Grumpy Cat

    usa
baby jesus sitting as a street beggar asking for charity for health care ...
people walking past(on their way to a republican convention in an old style steepled church[carrying anti-abortion signs]) yelling abuse telling baby Jesus to get a job

the moral panic of screams to invalidate that as a meme is the brainwashing indoctrination removing the religious nature of "freedom of choice"
decrying the meme as a political agenda is declaring that Christianity is a life style choice

some people do not feel alive unless they are poking the bear.

some hunt for the challenge & competition, others hunt because they enjoy killing.

some just like to buy endless piles of oil made plastic to throw out in the non recycling land fill rubbish

reminds me of 2 males i met independently many years apart
one was around 8 years old
    the other was early 20s
both shared the need to poke the bear.

i think it was a variation and mix of autism adhd and behavior.
the early 20s had dropped out of school as the school system had completely failed him.
was very smart but unable to learn in a class room so had almost no mathematics and very poor literary skills.

    foot note
global move to alt-right-ism is a shift away from science and evolution.

pandering to an extreme right wing christian conservative who are anti science has always been the Republican way.
they pay the moral bill by demanding a death penalty for everything

total moral hypocrisy but they seem to enjoy it as long as it is happening to someone else.

    creationism is not a science
    it is a religion
asserting intelligent design, does not define its own sense of moral definition of ideological behavior systems.
evolution is intelligence by action of reaction, thus intelligence is not devoid from evolution(the Ego)
    thus design gives pre-determination

    fate ...
if fate is real, why do churches need money ?
they dont because it would already be planned
churches are fated to have no wealth because they are born of no wealth.

does a church design its self to covet money ?
    is it being intelligent ?
    does it evolve ?
