Not really.......https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/...-can-help-people-cope-with-loss/#1960c5b055d2 "In this passage Einstein is referring to the “block universe” conception of spacetime. It’s hardly surprising that he accepted it, since although it came from the work of others (principally from Hermann Minkowski, one of Einstein’s teachers) it is the framework in which his own theories of special and general relativity are most naturally expressed. The block-universe view of physical reality contains time, but in a way remarkably different to our usual conception. It presents a four-dimensional view in which all events across time and space are on an equal ontological footing, with no sense in which present events are judged more “real” or “actual” than past or future ones. It is also very difficult to recover any meaningful sense in which time “flows”. Einstein has not been not alone in finding this view — where the distinction between past, present and future is not a fundamental feature of reality — to be a great comfort when reflecting on the loss of loved ones".
(All forms of energy and matter have always existed ) And so is the limitations of form . Any form in its present state can not be other than what it is . If this were not true , then the Universe would have no stability of form .
This, apart from being badly punctuated, doesn't tell us anything. As usual, you give no reasons at all for your view, and don't even clearly explain what you even mean. You are posting to one of our Science sections. We will have to exclude you from posting to those sections if you continue to post this kind of contentless rubbish, because it's a waste of time for the people who want to discuss science. Present your proof, or at least an argument to support your claim. The Law of Identity. What does this have to do with the thread topic? Define "form". You need to explain what you are talking about. You are posting to a science subforum.
Go back to 1968. Lunar landings haven't happened. Go forward to 1970. Lunar landings have happened. In the block universe, where were those events prior to 1968? Go back to 1968. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growing_block_universe According to the growing block universe theory of time (or the growing block view), the past and present exist while the future does not. The present is an objective property, to be compared with a moving spotlight. https://www.abc.net.au/news/science...eory-time-past-present-future-travel/10178386 Your birth is out there in space-time. Your death, too, is in space-time. Every moment of your life is out there, somewhere, in space-time. So says the block universe model of our world. According to the block universe theory, the universe is a giant block of all the things that ever happen at any time and at any place. On this view, the past, present and future all exist — and are equally real. What do we need to be able to do or understand to construct a functioning time machine? Watch as Catalyst examines the science of time travel. How can this be? The block has four dimensions: three spatial dimensions — say length, height and width — plus a fourth temporal dimension, or time. Or let's make it easier, by visualising the block model of our world as a three-dimensional rectangle, or cuboid. Two of that cuboid's dimensions (let's say height and width) represent two of the universe's three spatial dimensions. The third spatial dimension in the above diagram is left out — the length of the cuboid — and replace it with time. At one end of the cuboid is the big bang. At the other is the very last moment of the universe. Maybe it's a big crunch. The cuboid is filled with every event that ever happens. Where these events are in the cuboid represents their location in space-time. All events, including your birth and death, and this very moment as you read these words, exist somewhere in the block.
Time travel is theoretically possible, at least into the future, and breaks no known laws. The past is a different matter. There is no universal "now". You for example can never synchronise perfectly your now with my now. So I would be just starting to scull my can of Fosters, a fraction of a second before that moment in time reached you. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!...why because light has a finite maximum speed. Which only means our individual NOWs are synchronised within the single NOW of existence but separated by distance I don't follow much about time travel since (would your believe) I believe time being non existent there is nothing to travel within, but there you go You appear to have sidestepped but no problem ******** Tracy .... In my house with wife two daughters lost roof and minor damage one wall. Rebuilt roof and added garage same time Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Agree Fosters is terrible p*ss. But ale should be served at cellar temperature: cooler than ambient but not so cool that the flavour starts to disappear. I've been to some dreadful modern bars in London where the idiots refrigerate London Pride. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! What a waste.
Well, every beer has an ideal temperature. Most stouts are best closer to room temperature. Some barrel aged stouts and barleywines are best AT room temperature. IPA's are better colder, and most lagers really are better cold (around 5C.)
among other non existent things like gravity and space Please explain to me ??? are YOU claiming gravity and/or space don't exist ??? because I have never made any such claim Both gravity and space are detectable And you need to explain how the synchronisation of two accurate atomic clocks show that the passage of time [that which you claim does not exist] can vary dependent on how fast one travels You mean the effect of, what is known as Time Dilation? At the moment have downloaded a few updated papers Will give more details later Mean time how you going with Properties of time? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Interestingly (or not) IPA stands for India Pale Ale. It was brewed to have a higher ABV and more hops to help it survive the journey from the UK to India. Where of course we English were busy exploiting, terrorizing, and generally behaving like complete and utter bastards
Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Warm?? Warm? If anyone served you a warm beer in Australia, he or she would be shot! We have many, that I call "new age" beers in Australia at this time, but Fosters and/or VB are still my choice....Crown lager and Fourex, I will tolerate. Perhaps its our warmer climate but beer is always chilled here.
