The character that just won't die and keeps coming back episode after episode. He is so clever, tough, lucky that the laws of physics seemingly don't apply. All the warnings before shooting someone. The bad guy has a gun and has been shooting at everyone, the good guy corners him and says "drop your weapon" and gets shot when the bad guy doesn't. Average paid people living in houses that they would never be able to afford.
One of my favorite tropes... Main character gets out of the shower...the mirror has fogged up from the vapor filling the bathroom. He/she wipes the cloudy mirror...and dun dun DUN....there's a monster standing in the corner. No matter what, I always put a pillow in front my face and peek around when anticipating those types of scenes. lol I know, it's stupid...but, I feel safer holding that pillow.
