I might be one of the few people on the planet to not care about spoilers. Whether it be a movie or series...even a book, I don't mind spoilers (for the most part) Knowing the ending, doesn't really ruin the plot that leads up to it, for me.

Most of my friends loathe spoilers. I'd say the only time I've ever really cared, was with Game of Thrones. I binged that series two years ago, and followed the last two years...only to be let down with that ridiculously pathetic ending. Nonetheless, I wanted to see that particular ending for myself.

So, I've made available, a poll...but you won't be able to see the results, unless you vote. But with this poll, you can change your vote, if you wish. Note: this poll relates to series, movies, books, etc...

Do you get upset over spoilers?

So, five people voted so far, and looks like it's nearly a tie between 'no' and 'sometimes.' No one has voted 'yes,' yet...I should have my friends take a look at this, because they're convinced that there's no point to continue watching a series, or going to see a movie, if someone has already ''spoiled'' the ending for them. Now, I will say...that is would be rude to spoil the plot for someone who has kindly asked you not to, but it wouldn't ruin my desire to see said series/movie, though.

Consider the ultimate spoiler. You have seen the movie many times before

I am currently re watching Two an a half Men. I have seen some episodes more than 3 times, some only one before. In truth I can't remember which I have seen lots of or few of.

It is a funny series which I enjoy each time it turns up

Haven't voted but I also would go no

    Went back - voted no

    spoiler :
The results of this Poll shall be inconclusive, especially considering that "five people voted so far, and looks like it's nearly a tie".

    Seven now.

Telling me how a book ends used to be an good way to explain that black eye to people.

I just changed my vote to ''sometimes.''

I would have been upset if someone had ruined GoT for me...even though it was a horrible ending, I wanted to find it out for myself. So, I guess a ''hard'' no, doesn't really fit me.

lol @ Gawdzilla - you sound like a few of my friends...they get pretty irate when someone tells them the ending ''by mistake.'' ''Oops, I thought you guys saw it,'' is usually the perpetrator's excuse. lol

The solution is easy, only watch shows like "Gilligan's Island" where it never ends...

i have noticed a huge change in the type of promo-trailer-shorts advertising clip for movies over the last few years.

now it seems there is a race to include as much of the really expensive special effects as possible in the preview.
    i hate that
its a race to the bottom

you know which actors you like and can count on for choosing quality movies even if the subject is not your favourite.
you know the quality of the content and acting will be really worth the ticket price.

but now its like all the directors are copying the Transformers movie into their preview clips.
i find it very distasteful as its pandering to a ADHD audience who wants instant gratification on a mouse click then wants that endorsed repeatedly like a 5 year old child watching the same short movie over and over again.

annoys the crap out of me.

    race to the bottom !

Yessss...sooo true. And, the trailers expose too much...it's like I already know too much of the plot, before even watching a movie, anymore. I don't get it.

When I first read this I thought "who in God's name could be upset over spoilers? Are they upset over flaps and ailerons too?" Then I realized what it was about. Duh.

i think it is sycophantic Ego cash driven advertising people selling ass kissing to the celebrity as a yes-man
selling new age click bait normalcy as a form of audience motivator.
    complete horse shit !
online click bait has absolutely no comparative value to movie ticket sales

    the psychology is quite different

old style add agencies are dying out as they become extinct
they have failed to adapt to the changing environment
now they are costing ticket sales as they pedal their old bull shit models of advertising like a junky seeking that last hit.
its a shit storm between reality TV pretend real drama games and transformers movie trailers made for ADD & ADHD 10 year old boys

    complete gob-shite !

"Warning: There will be spoilers". See it all the time. Because one idiot didn't think when he posted his youtube article.

when Sancho is involved in an interesting story he wants no spoiler to ruin the end. Sancho has been known to skip to the end of a story because he is bored.
