I see no viable candidate thus far. Is it time to open Hillary's casket and wake her?

The top viable candidates are Warren, Harris, Sanders, and Biden. No, Hillary will not run.

Nope. We have viable candidates already, no matter how much you wish it were otherwise.

It's always time for the Republican media feed parrots to talk about Hillary Clinton.

That's the first and standard go-to topic for immediate response to exposure of Republican bedshitting, and such exposures are coming in pretty much continuously since they took the White House.

Did you hear the one about the Tennessee governor's response to a reporter asking whether he was going to arrange the removal of a Republican sexual predator from the Tennessee legislature - where he got mixed up over which Republican sexual predator currently sitting in that legislature the guy was asking about? - - Time to talk about Clinton sex stuff! She knew Epstein, after all.

How about the recent tabulation of taxpayer dollars paid to Trump (his company) to support Trump's golfing at his own golf courses while President? (well over a hundred million in the first couple of years, lowball estimate). Some of those reports mention the delicate matter of legality in that, some also quote Trump on the topic of Presidential golfing while being Obama - time to talk about Hillary Clinton! Too bad she apparently doesn't golf much.

With luck, the Rep pros monitoring their base will overlook the sheer boredom they have created around Hillary Clinton in the outside world.

If HRC does run, she will have her limo driver drop her off 10 feet before the finish line, then have 2 of her bodyguards carry her over the line.
In years to come, this will be known as the 10:2 strategy.

Worked for Trump, and W. It impresses the rubes. Something maybe a Dem should try, some day.

Meanwhile, let's have all the Republican media feed parrots talk about Hillary Clinton.

How shameless do you have to be to say that when Vladimir carried Trump over the line?

    Putin---5 foot 6 inches, weight 157 pounds
    Trump 6'3" 243 lbs

Maybe Vladimir Vladimirovich really is the strong man he would like us to believe?

Trump will start a war to remain in power longer.

Don't bet your hopes. Trump is a Republican president.

The only obstacle to Trump starting a war is his interest in extortion and other "business" dealings.

Meanwhile: What he's doing on the southern border is at minimum a cold war setup already, Trump has fewer deals nearby to curb his enthusiasm for cruelty and bullying, and the all important paramilitary and mercenary strongman loyalists are already organized and available at the scene.

Meanwhile, fascistic government needs enemies - preferably shooting enemies, preferably shooting enemies in possession of something worth stealing.

Meanwhile: Trump has extraordinary legal liabilities kept at bay only by his status as President and the reluctance of bureaucrats to take on violent mobs.

The strongman's muscle squads need the strongman, for the same reason: what they do is both illegal and despised by most people, and they need protection. Likewise his political allies. To a lesser extent, so does his popular support such as it is. He can count on them all to back anything he does.

Gee, Ice, if you hate the guy so much: Why did you vote for him?

You still think you can parody yourself? You can't. You've dug in too deep, gone down that dark road too far. You are months from getting your soul back, if you started now.

    In general:
When these guys post, everything after the "if" is bs. So is everything immediately preceding a question mark.

It's nothing they can change - they've lost the ability to have an honest discussion. That's what propaganda does to people.

    Call: Poe's Law.

Apparently, that is what happens to everybody who sucks up and repeats in public too much wingnut propaganda. The technique works.

They keep telling us they are just getting "both sides", that they can filter out the bs, but sooner or later their posts here and their votes there and their dealings with reality in general turn into something like sculptor's last few (consecutive) posts here.
(Note: what little there purports to be a statement of fact is inaccurate: Trumps is not 6'3", 243 pounds. That is relevant here, oddly enough.)

It turns out they never did "balance" their media feed, instead omitting - specifically - those news sources with the best record of accuracy and prediction in any given area. And so, eventually, their view of the world - the frame of their window into the outside world - no longer corrected itself by incorporating new information. Inevitably, then, the two - reality, Republican frame - diverged over time. They are now irreconcilable.

In consequence, adherents and adopters of that frame no longer have the ability to make accurate statements about political issues - they can post accurately, they can make statements, they can address a political issue, but only one of the three at a time.

The dumb or demoralized ones don't care - they just spew idiocy and hold each others hands, Bandar-Log style. The smart ones with some remaining self-respect work hard to avoid making declarative statements of fact, often shunting their posting here into a cul de sac of innuendo and dog whistling and deflection. They prefer such dishonesty to looking like fools.

It all devolves into an endless barrage of innuendo and "if", largely plagiarized from some bullshit factory like the AEI, largely directed at persons rather than issues, and largely traceable to an origin in projection (a lot of yak about "hatred", for example, and an otherwise inexplicable obsession with drug gangs and child abuse).

The North Koreans pioneered this for America. The "brainwashing" techniques whose effectiveness on highly trained US pilots so fascinated US counter-intelligence pros during the Korean War became a template of sorts for the Political Movement That Has No Name in the US, a sophisticated addition to the groundbreaking work of Riefenstahl et al - and it worked: Reagan. Bush. W. Trump.

That's where the OP of this thread came from. And that issue - where threads like this come from - is the only matter of interest here. The Republican media pros want to spend the next year and a half talking about Hillary Clinton - that's one of their inflatable lifeboats, from the rack labeled "both sides", subcategory "Democrats Hopelessly Corrupted Extremists, Falling Apart". These forums provide a small but influential part of the venue, the boat-fitting workshop.

KISS: This Presidency is what they promoted and shilled and voted for, just as W's was, and Bush's, and Reagan's. Trump=Republican, Republican=Trump. Tattoo it on their foreheads.

    Wreck the lifeboats.
