I'm not certain but I think I might be imagining things .

The things I imagine I can't really speak about because the things I imagine are controlling me .

How do I know if what I'm imagining is imagining or real ?

What do you mean by “imagine?”

    Are you hallucinating?

I'm not hallucinating although I might be . If I were , it has been over a year long .

This may sound beyond reasonable speculation, I think I'm some how receiving some sort of telepathic messages .

    Sooo, mind reading.

You should have posted this thread in the parapsychology subforum. If you're not trolling...that would be a better fit for this topic.

Not mind reading , more receiving messages from everyday activities . Have you ever watched the movie called Knowing , with Nicolas Cage ?

It feels a bit like that and I keep seeing signs .

    Am I going mad ?

The problem is if I went the doctors and told him everything , that may end up bad if my knowing was true .

    Going, gone...
Your "knowing" isn't "true". I think it will be alright if you see a doctor. It probably won't help anything but it won't hurt.

    Thank you very much.

How do you know it is not if I've not explained what I'm imagining ?

How can I know all about the neurological process when I've never read a book ,never watched a video or been educated in it ? The information I know came from nowhere .

I think I have a subliminal interface with EMR itself , or is that crazy?

    That's crazy.
You don't know all about the neurological process.
I don't need for you to explain what you are imagining to know it's not real.

Have you ever been walking down the street and a crazy person is moving two fingers in front of his eyes and mumbling something that makes no sense? You know he is crazy without him having to explain to you what the mumbling is all about, right?

    It's like that.

Oh well, they say a mind is a terribly thing to waste but that might not always be true.

    Thank you very much.

Seeing signs isn't a sign of reality. Figuring it all out on an internet forum is a sign of a troll however.

The mind is extraordinary and you are correct in that to waste a mind is a terrible thing .
I think I'd better go the docs , it is becoming more clear to me that I may have complex issues to deal with .

I'm not a mental health expert, but what you describe is commonly associated with certain kinds of mental illness. Imagining that external forces are controlling you, hearing unexplained voices in your head, believing you are receiving telepathic messages, and perceiving personal messages or signs in everyday things like movies or TV, are all likely to be delusional, by which I mean they reflect what is going on in your head rather than anything that is actually happening out there in the world.

There is no shame in having this happen to you. It is not uncommon. There is also no shame in seeking help from a qualified professional. There are medications and other treatments that can help you.

It's definitely not healthy to spend a lot of time worrying about what is real and what is not. Also, things can get scary if the voices and the messages start to seem too real.

Doctors are not out to get you. They are there to help you. See your family doctor and he or she will be able to refer you to people and/or organisations that can help you.

It's great that you're taking the step of recognising that you might have a problem.
