Buy diced stewed tomatoes and skip the paste and it's even easier/better.

it will also save you from all the nasty additives they add to sauce, as well as the massive amount of sugar that is added to canned or bottled sauce.
most have around 20% sugar which is just crazy.
many people get addicted to the MSG, salt & sugar combination.

Last but not least, setting aside some time to cook your own meals, be it a bolognese ragu or anything else, gets your mind in another place and provides a reason for the family to sit together to enjoy your cooking and talk, with electronic devices set aside.

It might less time for TV, but it is time well spent. You and they will be better balanced mentally, and you will not get so fat. From what I've observed, people who live on pre-prepared meals nearly always become unhealthily fat.

I might just do that. Then add raw sugar to it. (=

Yuk. I just used diced stewed tomatoes, sliced up green onions, ground pepper, a little thyme and maybe a little cayenne pepper. No sugar. If you want it to taste like crap just use Ragu or ketchup.

My tip for tomato sauce to go with pasta is from Jamie Oliver: gently fry chopped garlic with a few salted anchovies until the latter disintegrate and before the garlic browns, then add tinned chopped tomatoes, maybe a little extra salt if needed, and just let it simmer and reduce for 45 mins. Then a few torn basil leaves on top when you serve. You can also put a pinch of dried chillies in at the start too id you want to pep it up a bit.

The anchovies don't really make it taste "fishy", but somehow deepen the taste. And you don't need onions really either. I always have a few little tins of anchovies in the cupboard. They are handy things and last for ever.

It's summer here, soon. I keep emergency blankets in the Mazda, and in the summer I wrap frozen food in the blankets. Better than running the car's A/C set on "McMurdo". We have a crossover (Tribute S) so we have room in the back for laundry baskets. I can carry a dozen grocery bags in one hand when they're in a basket.

I attended a party recently, and one of my friends spilled a glass of red wine on a beige couch. Someone rushed over and poured a little salt to cover the stain, let it sit, and then poured white vinegar over the stain, scrubbed a little, and the stain vanished. Pretty cool, because when you've had a few glasses of wine, you might spill some.

I like my sauce thick so I use paste and petite diced tomatoes with onions and peppers plus a generous amount of basil.

Club soda is also good with the salt.

Something we have in Britain, where you buy fish and chips, the chips traditionally being sprinkled with vinegar. Often very greasy, but less processed than a lot of more modern fast foods.

(On the other side of our local pond, the Dutch do much better fried fish, in small chunks called "kibbeling". Eet smakelijk!)

The "best" regional food that is not commonly available is "hushpuppies". Served in the U.S. South with "barbecue" (pulled pork). It is deep fried cornmeal in the shape of a finger (or sometimes just a ball) with pork seasonings in it.

Do you really even need to ask? Of course! Yelling "Shake n Bake" is so "yesterday".

    This is the best.!!!

You can sometimes use dental floss to remove stuff that stuck on other stuff that uses a glue that stays pliable like silicone... or even types of double sided tape... just slide the floss behind the item you want removed an use a sawin motion an it will cut thru the adhesive wit-out causin damage.!!!

I used it to remove a mirror that had been stuck on a door wit silicone adhesive... an a little mirror stuck on a outside rear view mirror... an most recently i used it to remove the "GE" emblem from our new refridgerator cause it had been put on upside down... then i smeared a bit of silicone calk on it an put it on corectly.!!!

Upside down top pic an Fixed pic down below.!!!

My clothes dryer is in the basement. After some recent health issues going down there is only as absolutely necessary. I found that if I put a coin in the dryer I can hear it when the dryer is running. Silence means a trip won't be wasted.
