    I need someone to collaborate with. Someone with the resources to do neutron decay experiments. The usual neutron decay formula is:

    n -> p + electron + electron antineutrino.

    Now I claim the neutron lifetime would be shorter if one add a anti-uu to the LS:

    udd + anti-uu -> uud + anti-ud.

    I don't know if this is sufficient self promotion i.e. if it is against forum rules.

    The only thing against the rules is putting more of your silly fantasy in the science section. Reported to move to pseudoscience.

    Where did anti-uu come from? In any case, what you are describing is a reaction, not a decay.

    It comes from pair production, from energy. I can't change the title of this.

    It aught to take 3-4 seconds to react (from the time the anti-uu started to exist).

    Reported to have this moved to pseudoscience.

    Okay, so experimentally, how do propose to test that?

    Trap neutrons in a proton, electron detector and send in 2 photons of energy 1/2*(mass energy of anti-uu). Measure the neutron lifetime. The control version of the experiment is already done since the neutron lifetime got measured.

    The lifetime in the presence of anti-uu should be 3.9 to 4.1 seconds.

    Do the experiment for one neutron at a time, then there is no interference issues.

    How did you work that out?

    I did an in-mind experiment and counted.

    In other words, you just made up some numbers.

    Looks like this thread is in the correct subforum.

    The experiment is the real thing, I assure you. I can even do it external to mind in which case the lifetime is 2.5 s.

    If the experiment is done with a polarised neutron it produces only a proton.

    So, you expect that when you do the actual experiment, the result won't match your own theoretical prediction?

    Never mind that the measured lifetime for a free neutron is actually more like 15 minutes than 2.5 seconds, in reality.

    I measure the lifetime in the presence of anti-uu's.

    How do you do that? In an "in-mind experiment", I mean?

    I guess you just imagine the lifetime is 2.5 seconds?

    It requires mental action. The simple form of a mental action you should be familiar with is the process of recalling a memory. At the top of your mind in the left hemisphere is an action space area. To do an experiment: think then preform the required mental action(s) then look at/feel the result. You'll find the required particles readily available. I have a mind diagnostic voice that can tell me anything about my mind.

    No, I did the experiment using the spirit of Nature and my mind.

    Whether or not he believes he can do subatomic experiments in his head, he has to be mad as a box of frogs to confess it openly in a public place. How socially isolated must one be to not realize that that's a confession of delusion?

    In other words, you made up a number then pretended it was an experimental result. Or, to put it differently, you tried to lie to the members of this forum about doing an experiment to measure a physically meaningful quantity.

    Even for the Pseudoscience section, this troll-like behaviour is unacceptable. We have a site rule against knowingly telling lies, and this is exactly what you have been doing here.

    This thread is now closed.

    Willem has received an official warning for trolling and knowingly telling lies. Members are asked to report any future deceptive or troll-like behaviour from Willem.
