An Apology Long Due

I just want to extend my apologies, I know I was wrong in the past involving my behaviour, but I have become more settled in my older age. I extend my apology first and foremost to James, who did at least a few times try and sort the issues and I just made things worse.

For all other posters that I insulted, I also extend my apologies. I just want to demonstrate that time can change things, change people and the way they act, meaning me. I was very young when I first came here and it seems my behaviour had been bad enough that I simply wasn't welcome any more.

I have no intentions of being like this and my attitude towards people has changed, but the only way I can prove this is by being given another chance. If the moderators think I should not be here, then I promise, I won't bother you again. I just want a second chance to prove that people can change, no matter how repulsive they have been in the past.... but that was the past and this is now.

I will respect the decision if moderation decide to delete my account. Again, I am sorry and I hope we can get along some how.

    regards, ~ simons cat

The majority of humans are raised emotionally to be addicted to emotional drama.
    Drama TV
    Reality TV
    etc etc...

once you become an alcoholic, you stop appreciating the quality & flavour of the wine and life becomes a bi-polar reality between 2 sides to life
    the good stuff(positive emotions)
    the cheap stuff(negative emotions)
and all stuff is accepted to service the addiction.
mania is the desired norm and they are quite happy to take either path to feel the drug kick in

Yeah, that happens, don't it? It seems that most of us on discussion forums these days are "older"; the youngsters are all on Snapface and Twitbook.

I don't need your apology because I don't remember you, if I ever knew you - another consequence of old age that has its pluses and minuses.

I like your avatar. I used to read Asterix in French class way back when.

It takes humility to apologize, especially when no one expects it. I don't know what you're talking about as I haven't been on here as much, but thought this was very kind of you.

I took on the moniker, dubbelosix, from the same series, which I use on science forums.

Too bad you immediately returned to your old form of posting made up pseudoscience, it kind of makes your apology meaningless....

Again... unless you demonstrate some kind of scientific understanding, I cannot see you being taken seriously. I don't know how many times I corrected you and exchemist after blatant accusations against me and my own training. I know what this boils down to ... bullying and no less.

I believe the number of times hovers around zero.

what about that which diverges from it??? mmm

Tell you what, you leave me be, I'll you. Just try to complicate this, when I am just trying to find my way through life.

    I can respect that.
Here is a piece of advice, quit hanging out on forums to just copy and past things you to not understand to try and impress people. I think you will find that if you just post what you know and ask about things you do not know you will have a much more enjoyable time.

That first sentence sounded so genuine... I almost thought for a moment I touched a sense of humanity... then I read on....

And you and ''some'' others have wondered why I couldn't deal with this place to the point of imputance.

I thought the second part was good advice and I meant it.
Couldn't deal with this place? You mean you were dragged out of here 'kicking and screaming'.

I guess you just cannot stop yourself. Wait, have you actually convinced yourself that what you write is somehow not you just cutting and pasting shit you do not understand??? Quite sad, now I feel bad for you, so goodbye and we will let the mods dispense with you.

NO, I reacted to bad etiquette, not that mine was any better. You will not be blaming me for being booted from here for having a scientific curiousity. And no matter how many times you repeat it, I am here by the grace of the moderators, not you.

A genuine scientific curiosity should motivate you to try to understand existing theories (that will take several lifetimes), not make up your own.

Kudos to you for your apology; it takes a lot of guts to apologize for your behavior.

With that said, perhaps you could cut back on the attacks right out of the gate? Give it a week or so before you go on the attack.

I totally agree, which is why I have 16 + years now, of constant reading, learning and the lot. What have you shown in the years? Not getting at you, but you can't seem to control yourself.

I promise, these are not attacks, this is self-defense. As I stated before, the constant bullying tactics by two I shall not name in this post, have tried their very hardest to censor me. Now, if it has been taken as an attack, that was not my intention. I want to remain on the facts, not wish washy, almost trashy attacks that is ... unwarranted. You leave the past in the past. I'm doing it, so why cannot others?
