I always use probiotics, cheese and yogurt when I get a course of antibiotics. With my radiation colitis, it is no laughing matter to take antibiotics - if I skip the probiotics then I will pay dearly, regardless of studies to the contrary.....Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Of course , I was being sarcastic towards exchemist . Anyone that has taken antibiotics NEEDS to take supplements of probiotics and foods that promote biogenome gut health .
what is just coming out now is the awarenes of nurturing the correct state for the bacteria(flora) while many pre programed minds switch off to words like diet the slight behavioural shift in types of foods & liquids in diet can make a massive difference. fasting to help clean/flush the small intestine is probably about to become mainstream common basic practice. certain critical nutrients are only absorbed in certain regions of the intestine. modern western diets(high carb high processed meats high added toxic chemicals) flood these areas with processed waste which blocks the intestines ability to process certain things.
i suspect the yogurt & cheese also have a slowing effect via the saturated and other fats in them, slowing the digestion process like a sea anchor in a stormy sea. this slowing and added weight to the function of processing forces the stomach to seek more energy to process which then slows the muscular function down to pre conceved speed frequencies. (thats my own opinion) as you wil likely already know from expereince, if you eat too much it can trigger a response to flush everything out., equally if you do not eat enough and the stomach accidity level becomes too much for the stomach to contain and trigers it to flush.
The consequences that might follow from having a depleted bacterial population in the intestines According to this report apparently .... I am no expert in this area . Here are a few links that might answer your question as to what are the benefits of bacteria in the body https://www.google.ie/search?q=benefits of bacteria in our body&oq=benefits of bacteria in &aqs=chrome.3.69i57j0l5.16751j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
eventaully a specific bacteria will be able to be grown and taken like a pill or drink that fits your genetic disposition and process and state of health. medical variaties chemo radio etc... dieting, slow metabolism fast metabolism body electrical conductivity cell production environment toxicity city air pollution food pollution etc... low minerals high minerlas. like adjusting the distributor cap & injectors on a petrol engine while adjusting the type of fuel and combustion point etc. its just around the corner in the mean time they may start making artificial stomachs for processing
I picked up a touch of acinar adenocarcinoma (prostate cancer) a few years back. They cut out as much as they could, gave me 2 & 1/2 years of "androgen deprivation therapy" (AKA 1st round chemo) and 80 Grey of radiation (as much as they figured I could take). Since there was an "extra-capsular extension" that had made contact with my colon, it (my colon) was included in the radiation therapy. The radiation gave me some pretty serious intestinal and colonic problems (major cramps and bleeding, explosive bowel movements) for quite some time before settling in as chronic radiation colitis and some persistent nerve damage. The docs say these "should" fade with time. Other 'survivors' say that time could be 20+ years.
Have you looked for a natural flush for radiation ? Would perhaps , iodine help ( iodine ( potassium iodide and pure iodine ) , in the form of drops , help ? I don't know ..
The iodine works by filling your thyroid's need for same before you are exposed to radioactive iodine (Fukushima), it isn't a flush, par se. My radiation was in the form of x - rays delivered with a 'cyberknife' type radiation projector in an arm that pivoted 359* around a bed I lay on, so I got like microwaved - cooked. Once that is done, you are left with internal radiation burns, essentially. Nothing to be done but watch what I eat and deal with the pain.
