It's difficult to see how people could be alive and lethally allergic to water given people are mostly water. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquag
So what you're saying is all these cases are hoaxes and the National Biomedical Institute is also 'in' on the hoax for writing up a case report about it? https://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5438944/
That is a really strange thing. I had not heard of this extremely rare condition. It would really suck.
Allergy to water molecule seems bizarre, since water molecules are all over inside our bodies (blood, etc.). Someone really allergic to water probably would drop dead immediately.
Nope. We are saying that you are a troll who posts the same nonsense material over and over here. (Up next! This little girl is allergic to air!)
I remember someone tried to rationalize this as these people who are allergic to water aren't 'really human' at all and something supernatural is going on . What are your thoughts? Do you suppose all these cases are hoaxes? I'm unsure of what the purpose of such hoaxes is though but I do find it strange how you never ever heard of being allergic to the water molecule until recently
Oh, for Pete's Sake, Jimmy. The medical write ups are not hoaxes. They describe Aquagenic Urticaria - a skin condition. They also don't mention 'just one cup of water will KILL this girl DEAD!' It's the news rags that mangle and distort the facts into ridiculous caricatures of the facts. Do you really not know the difference between a medical report and the National Enquirer? You're going to get eaten alive by the internet.
Then how come the girl's parents said she once drunk a mouthful of water by mistake and her body went into shock, so she had to be injected with adrenaline in order to save her life? and the fact they react internally when drinking water says it's a lot more than just a skin condition that only affects the skin. The same girl's parents said she had a surgery to get her appendix removed, and the surgeons used no 'water based' products, in a 'world first'. Unfortunately she then was given a drip, but had a massive whole body reaction because the drip was 'water based' (quote) and water was going into her bloodstream.
For all we know, she poured half of it down her front, where it reacted on her skin. Trust medical reports, not rag newspapers.
Also how do you explain her reacting to a drip, a drip is having water infused into your bloodstream directly. Yet she had a massive whole body reaction to it, causing 'giant blisters' to appear all over her body..
Saline, to be accurate. This thread is already full of weasel words. Citation from a medical report, please.
Strawman. There's a wikipedia article on aquagenic urticaria so it seems as though being allergic to the water molecule is a real thing. There's doctors cited in the articles about her and you can google them and see they're real doctors. One of them who diagnosed her with an allergy to the water molecule is an immunologist who worked at Birmingham Children's Hospital and treated Heidi there.
It is not straw man to require a citation from a reputable source. Rags don't count. Indeed. I have tried to point you at it several times. It is a skin condition. "...it is not a true histamine-releasing allergic reaction like other forms of urticaria." No, that's your job. So far, you're presented a bunch of rags, and one medical report - the latter only mentioning swelling of the mouth and throat which resolved spontaneously. Start presenting some facts about your assertion, or this is going to go south fast.
like the sudden invention/discovery of anti biotics modern medical science has allowed hundreds of millions to survive while only 3 generations ago they would have been wiped out. vacines, anti-biotics, anti bacterials, blood transfusions, modern basic surgical processess. starvation dietary recovery knowledge/science... infant mortality post natal mortality genocide basic washing routines for personal hygine(only about 3 generations old, saves millions of lifes every year) munchausen by proxy is still very common in 2nd & 3rd world cuntrys, even 1st would countrys it is still a regular statistic. child abuse, domestic homicide(leading form of homicide) infanticide... the list goes on... maybe the child was poisoned by chlorine gas as a baby by someone.
