And as long as they do not act on their lustful thoughts - in any way - they're not criminal.
Once they start snapping pictures and dispensing pills, they've taken criminal action.
    Simple.

You mean an impulse to have sex with a child?

Some do. But the desire remains. Unfortunately, many resort to online activities, such as child pornography, picture sharing of children, playing online games popular with kids online, particularly those with chat functions or visiting parks, beaches and whatnot, to simply be close to children and as I experienced too recently, start fondling themselves while sitting in the shallow end of the beach near children, while looking at children playing and swimming in the water...

Do you think those paedophiles are able to control their impulses?

Yep. A guy can look at a woman and feel aroused (obviously).

However, rape is not so much about lust or sex as it is about the desire for power and dominance.

    It's still child pornography.

For what purpose? Keep them to yourself, you shou7ld be okay. Disseminate them, you're a criminal.
It's clear enough. It was clear enough on Page 2. Deal me out.

It is in Canada too. I'm asking if that's a reasonable position.

To encourage people to think about it. It doesn't look like anybody has.

How about you? Is a drawing harmful to children?

I already answered that question the last time you asked it.

How about answering mine? Do you think a drawing is harmful to children?

I'll give you a yes or no answer after you answer my question: Does a drawing harm children?

I think you need to take a good long look in the mirror and ask yourself what exactly the fuck you are doing with your life. you just asked if it is unreasonable to have certain types of child porn be illegal. thats the territory when you got ask if you fucked up.

The pen is mightier than the sword, they say. They must say that for a reason. Words and images can certainly harm.

Yes. Child pornography is harmful to children and has the potential to destroy lives.

Even fictional child pornography has the ability to destroy lives, because it, as I noted several times now and which you so blithely ignored, normalises paedophilia.

You keep demanding we answer that question, for what purpose?

Do you think it should be legal to sell or pass on child pornography? You questioned why it should be illegal.

I need to ask, why do you think it should not be illegal? Why do you think paedophiles should be allowed to buy or sell child pornography?

Do you also disagree with speeding laws?

    Agrees and...
Not only does it normalise it actually encourages paedophillia. Some ask, is simply fantasizing about paedophile activities harmfull to the child with out considering that with in that adult mind, paedophillia becomes normalized and subconsciously the mind is guided towards either physical participation, encouraging it, supporting it, or at least turning a blind eye to it, as seen in various religious, judicial etc. organizations over the years. Thus setting up a complacient culture that ultimately harms children by allowing the forcing of arrousal addiction on those children that then leads to those children often becoming adult offenders later in life themselves, repeating the cycle.

It could be argued that sexual arrousal of any type is highly addictive. Hyper strong arrousal asociated with paedophilia ( as with rape) due to associated "power arrousal" is incredibly addictive as demonstrated by the failure of treatments ( even voluntary castration) in mitigating this massive blight on our social futures.

    Just thoughts...(mobile)

Maybe grabbing a 5 year old by the pussy may become legal under Trump?

I wish you hadn't said that. He's on record admiring a 10-year-old girl, but deferred 'dating' until she was older. Not sure what 'date' means in his world.

Indeed! Read Timothy Findley's terrifying novel Headhunter.
We all harbour some darkness within that should be kept down, not given license. This is how torture became generally accepted in the US: see it in movies, then television, then pretend to do it in video games.... and then it's just ho-hum, so what, and eventually every cop is allowed to hurt any suspect to get a confession.
