    About 7-1, unless he's a cane toad; they're long-lived.
Tell me he's not a cane toad!

I'll be 64 in a bit. Are you truly ancient? Respect.

That's just a semi-literate smartassism for "six of one, half a dozen of the other."

This is a real seniors' club, innit?
Dr. Toad is the youngster who has to get up and change the channel... Oh, wait... we have the wand now. But... where?

When I 1st heard of TV remote control, I thought it was silly. Now I would hate to be without it.

Might still have a CRT, with a click turn channel changer, complete with flat ribbon cable attached to rabbit ears

Nope. Flatscreen LCD, two computers on a KVM switch, and no damned TV, thank you.

    88 years young.

Give me a frigging break. There are several factors which determine whether someone is young or old & none make calling an 88 year old young the slightest bit sensible.
Currently, 88 years old is old not young, regardless of how healthy they are or their attitude or whatever.

I'm dying at 64. Does that make me old, or just unwise in my life choices? I still feel like a young man, but my knees, back and liver tell a different story.

I just want my mind until the last minute.

    Good night, good people.

Of course the mind is most important. I would certainly hate to be much more physically impaired but if I cannot use my mind, I am not me & may as well be dead.

A broken clock is correct twice a day.

A clock is a device which measures time. There is more to being correct than chance coincidence.
And when people say a clock is fast or slow, it is probably not fast or slow but simply ahead or behind.
