From memory some ants have slaves And in the animal world I would say they don't have any social justice system except if you mess with me I kill you That should give you pause Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Humans are fear based life-forms. They are dominated, ruled by, fear. Also, they crave power and control. Humans have been too large to manage with direct violence. So instead, laws were made to control everyone.
The Pope has been on the news recently wishing to abolish the death-penalty. He says it doesn't allow for the possibility of repentance and forgiveness. I agree. ☺
Disagree Repentance and / or forgiveness can be sorted out upstairs or in the basement Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Sort of true A individual will decide their destination, up or down Other individuals will decide the sooner or later time line And the occupants of upstairs / downstairs decide the repentance or forgiveness angle It is life on Earth that decides where we go It's a team effort Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
The pause should only last long enough until one concludes that there is no life on this planet that has notions of justice, except humans. From there, one can move on to whether it is merely a cultural artifact, or if it is a symptom of developed intelligence.
the irony about the death penalty is that it doesnt stop the accused from comitting the crime and it also doesnt make money as an activity to generate financial reward to the victims financial dependants. it also has been proven that the majority of eye witness court statements are not fact based. theyare selective memorys implanted by the witnes as a form of story line. very VERY few eye witnesses can actually recal details, where people were at what time or moment, or what people looked like(facial features). the death penalty in many countrys is still used as a political weapon where people are murdered by the state for their political opinions(around 50% or more of the world). though many countrys use the same word for a specific type of insitution and call them prisons. not many prisons are the same as other prisons. atleast half the countrys in the world have accepted torture rape and murder in prisons as being part of the socially accepted prison sentence. many countrys try and increase the financial cost on society for prisons by making them private so injecting "Greed" into a position of absolute power of life, death & torture over prison inmates. a large percentage of stated prisons(probably around 10% globally) are in fact death camps, places where people are expected to die from the conditions that are created inside the prison. The irony of the majority of prisons is that they are used as punishment to inflict penalty on people who have gone against social norms and define the release of the person after the punishment is going to make them less inclined to continue opposing the rule of that defined authority. however there is no behaviour modification system in most prisons apart from brain washing re-education camps and psychopathic prisons that teach people to care less about other humans. soo the effect of the person coming out is that they know it is more important to follow the authority of the cruelest person and to never get caught. i think the pope makes some good points. the irony of modern society is that many people may think that all their tax money is paying for a prisoner to be taught what compassion is and to have their vast array of mental health diseases cured with a magic wand. a-lass the reality of what prisons are and what the ideal mechanism of prisons are are like(modern civilised 1st world countrys that do not have the death penalty) an astronaut standing next to a cave man. i do not wish to make any particular cultural point about a population of people and their suicidal culture however, because of th ebetter level of statistics the USA is a good model to gain some types of data from. specifically mental health diseases of inmates. it is suggested by data that around 60 of all US prison inmates have a serious mental health disease. soo. obviousely ! if you take such a person with various sociopathic behavioural norms who is criminalising their life and inflicting suffering on society. to just inflict more psychopathic effect on them by removing personal human normalised behaviours as therapy and adjusting their behaviour pattern you smply functionalise their disease then realses them back out as better functionaing sociopathic disordered people who are taught to percieve human emotional rules as games instead of real feelings. as a species we are in an interesting position. on one hand we have the medical technology to comprehend the issues of such criminally operating people, yetsociety seems to be not willing to force the leaders to put that technology into use in prison systems and re-habilitation. you can see leaders hold up big moral and social queue cards to voters/public to define people as having an ecconomic worth and then attempting to exercise that as a cost that must always be reduced as a model of how society treats and caters for the criminal element of the human in society. that is interesting when you lok at it from the other end and what those very same people try and tell little children in school about what value humans are supposed to have. it appears(note appears meaning looks like which may be fueled by mental health issues and other such sociopathic or psychopathic disorderss that leaders are not without) to an educated mind that they are deliberately trying to screw with the moral balance of society. or manipulating it for their own personal gain. 2 things seem to come up with this 1 salvation/repentence/forgiveness 2 equitable moral code of balance for cause and effect process roughly 45% of all murder is cmitted by a womens sexual partner(family violence) the massive amount of violence against women which is reported and unreported consequential violence against children as also being part of the family this proprtion of violent crime is extremely substantial. it does not in any way make profit that can be used to pay for the interaction to care for victims and any other thing/process or person or asset it is a pure cost. when we look at domestic abuse(violent crime in the family) there is a social model of culture where only a few decades aga this violent crime was expected to be acceptable as a part of life. how does ... 1 salvation/repentence/forgiveness relate to this ? (i will leave it there on a position of inquiry for better thinking) i am not going to spell check edit this
this has already been proven as scientifically un true. various species of animals have punishment types. wolfes & Dolphins to name the easy ones with social rules & conditioning. Dolphins will rape unruly males that are being agressive toward some females wolfes and also lions will segregate members of the pack and interact in varying ways to punish members that are disruptive. some species of animals even have nominated naughty corners where they put members that are acting up.
