See a chiropractic doctor . I never trusted them , adjusting ones spine is not to be taken lightly .

But the clinic in which I am in , took an X-ray right then and there of my spine and therefore knew exactly what my problems are . It was not a pretty picture . No guess work .

I'm not into chiropractors. If it helps you, I'm glad. In my opinion, it's not a real field of medicine. Most of the chiropractors I've known as neighbors or whatever, are a little nuts. They aren't real doctors but they do like to be called that. They usually have some battle going on with the medical establishment. Many have weird diets, are against all drugs, try to treat things they have no business treating.

Going to a physical therapists in most/all cases would be a better choice, in my opinion.

Not only is the subject-matter quirky but no one is ever "cured". You go 3 times a week. Try going to the gym 3 times a week, or doing yoga and swimming 3 times a week, go to a physical therapist 3 times a week. I think those are better choices.
The education for a chiropractor is no more extensive than for a physical therapist.

Here is the thing though, who can correct the spine when it is curved in an unnatural way . Only chiropractics .

Further , the thing that I learned and which should be obvious is that , the spine is the central communication to the whole of your body , from the brain . If the spine curvature is not normal , then the communication from the brain to the rest of the body is also not normal . Hence problems with the normal functioning of the body as a whole . Arteries have nerves in them , if the communication from the brain to arteries does not function correctly then blood flow then deteriorates , as I found in my hand . A bluish red , not white , or skin colour . But in one short session , 2-3 minutes my skin colour started to return . I was astonished . And has improved ever since .

And I have , but they cannot correct an abnormal curvature to ones spine .

If I were to the gym in my condition I would do more harm than good at this time . My goal is to return , eventually to the gym but my spine is not up to the stress .

As a retired Registered Nurse I have come into contact with a few chiropractors and while I didn't have much interaction with them I have always thought of the practice as dodgy

Not sure where it slots into the medical spectrum

One area I consider they should stay well out of are persons under 18 unless under the supervision of a doctor who knows what they can bring to the condition and can help together for the benefit of the patient

Over 18 fine but I would caution ask a doctor their take on what can a chiropractor do for your condition

My father was a firm beliver in chiropractors. He had been a farmer before machinery was invented so his back was a bit messed up. I think mom went to a chiropractor a few times too. Once when I was well under 18, I had a stiff neck from some kind of youthful tomfoolery so they took me. As far as I was concerned at the time, he made it much worse. I couldn't move my head at all for a week and it was much more painful. On the bright side, it's fine now - though the rest of me is pretty broken down in the past 50 years.

At least they didn't take you down to the revivalist's tent for faith healing!

I have actually been to such places - but not as a victim/patient.

have you weened yourself off the pain meds yet ?
im fairly sure i recognised your emotional responses to be indicative of medication or pain issues.
maybe long term pain plus fatigue.((long term pain fatigue is quite a nasty wild animal and not really discussed or understood))
    its a nasty thing.
    good to hear your healing
