isn't all the problems in the Middle East have to do with the SAUD's from Saudia Arabia .

Everybody in the neighborhood has funded or supplied or given refuge to terrorists. Even Iran, and Jordan.
The Wahabi Sauds are just the wealthiest, and worst.
The US sold its soul to Exxon, Chevron, BP - - - the Saudi monkey latched unto our back while we weren't paying attention. Had the US behaved according to its declared principles in the wake of WWII, we might have democracies in Iran and probably Iraq for allies, possibly Israel as well, and no soldiers on the ground at all. Wages of sin.

And so we have no good options in Syria. Everything we do is in the service of war and wrong.

It looks like Assad will soon control all of Syria, except the northeast (Kurd control, with U.S. support). Any thoughts on what happens next?

with the russian peacekeepers in the golan dmz covering syria's back from israeli attacks, the syrian army will now have to face the same rebels that they trucked north along with the ones supplied and supported by turkey.

That, most likely, ain't gonna be an easy victory.

After that, the negotiations with the kurds should be interesting.
    another guess
the kurds will most likely want a certain amount of autonomy but with the protection of syria---which then could include the protection of russia.

What happens next is the clearing of Idlib.

Everything is prepared. The Syrian army will finish the IS in Al Safa - a volcanic plateau in the desert, they have encircled them completely, so IS has no chance, but they probably have some hostages, that's why the Syrian army does not use the full power to destroy them. "Probably" because there is information that the hostages have been seen in the US-controlled "refugee" camp near Al Tanf.

But this is a local issue, the most powerful Syrian forces are already around Idlib and will soon start to attack.

The US is also prepared, they have openly declared that they plan to bomb Syrian forces, and the warships and airforce necessary for this is also prepared. The official reason for this will be yet another fake gas attack. In a situation where the Syrian army is close to winning a civil war, there will be too many fighters on the other side interesting in securing themselves by giving information to the Syrian side that the preparations for the fake attack will not go unnoticed, https://www.almasdarnews.com/articl...to-carry-out-new-strikes-against-syrian-govt/ already gives some details about the actual preparations. But, given the Douma attack, the Western media do no longer care about the attack being in any way plausible. So, some however implausible fake will be made, and Syria will be bombed another time by FUKUS.

Ok, since you want to throw around predictions and make accusations against the West once again, here's my prediction:

If a chemical weapons attack occurs, the Assad regime and Russia will do everything in their power and use every available excuse to prevent international inspectors from reaching the site in a timely fashion, even though allowing the inspectors in would be the best way to prove their innocence.

Ok, my variant: The "international inspectors" will not even try to reach the site, given that it will be on the territory controlled by the "moderate rebels", they will simply trust the accusations made by the White Helmets, together with a piece of some chemical weapon which, in unknown ways, is given by the White Helmets to the OPCW. This will become the final point of breakdown of this organization.

Elaborating further on my own prediction: Just as before, it will not be the rebels who are fingered by international inspectors for blocking access to the site, it'll be your boys as usual.

If the rebels truly wanted to use chemical weapons on their own people to frame Assad and Russia to force the West to get more involved they would have used them considerably more than they have...
What is stopping the rebels from using chems on their own people for that ambition? Nothing! So that leaves only one possible alternative explanation. Assad is/was using chemical gas to clear basements and tunnels as an efficient and effective way to clear territory and terrorize the rebels into surrender.
    "The end justifies the means"
One of the main reasons for gas during ww1 was to force the enemy out of the trenches so they could be shot. Assad is/was just using the same strategy. IMO

It would be dumb for western countries to fake a chemical attack just to blow up a few empty buildings, and anyone who believes these countries would waste their time and credibility doing that is even dumber.

Wrong. The rebels reach nothing with gassing their own people without Western support. In fact, they have tried. And it had no result because the Western media had not done anything about it, so, there was nothing but a few twits. So, this is the order: The West wants to bomb something in Syria, for whatever reasons. They give the commands to the secret service, the secret service organizes everything, then the fake attack starts, and the West bombs. Against the wish of the West, to organize such a thing makes no sense.

For Assad, it makes no sense to use gas at all. If he wanted to clear basements with gas, for whatever reason, he would apply it to basements, instead of putting a gas bottle into a bed on the top floor of a house as done in the fake attack.

The West is, actually, doing dumb things. Like the Skripal case. It makes no sense at all, only discredits the media distributing this nonsense.

But the aim was a quite reasonable one - to create a reason for Trump to start a big war against Syria, in the FUKUS coalition with the globalists. Without this, Trump could simply start to withdraw US forces from Syria. This has to be prevented, and this is what the globalists succeeded up to now.

You keep saying that. It's obviously not the case - guys like Assad gain quite a bit via occasional acts of terrorism like that.

That doesn't mean he did it, of course. I too think these gas attacks could be a variety of folks doing a variety of things. But having his apologists trying to pretend he wouldn't, or that it would make no sense for him, does not build confidence in the denial.

Nor does this kind of stuff:
Not if it's heavier than air and the basement is dangerous. It's a good tactic - low risk delivery, fills the escape routes with gas, gives them no warning, blocks entry of aid or gear or medical attention, creates a proper terror spectacle in the street, etc.
Still haven't come to your senses about that guy, apparently.
Trump is a Republican. Left to his own devices, he'd be as likely to try out nuclear weapons in Syria as withdraw from that oil business nexus. More likely.

No kidding. Every time gas has been used in Syria, Assad gained something significant on the battlefield immediately afterward, and those who claim otherwise sound like Nazi apologists hoping everyone else is as dumb as the people who consistently buy into their bullshit. Clearly Assad benefits from the use of gas and would have plenty of reasons to use it as long as he need not fear retribution, which he need not seriously fear based on past experience.

Considering Schmelzer thinks he's smarter than the entire mainstream physics community, you'd expect him to know enough about gases and chemistry to understand this concept without explanation... If he wasn't restricted to reading Russian propaganda, he would have also seen this fact mentioned in the Western press on numerous occasions.

Why would someone need to engineer excuses just for Trump to bomb empty buildings? Why do these chemical attacks always manifest around important strategic targets Assad just happens to be attacking at the time, when it would be logistically far easier to stage such attacks in areas under solid rebel control and make the same accusations with the same international response?

Every time Schmelzer makes these kind of insanely ignorant posts, it just convinces me that much more that he's proudly and openly lying for the purpose of pushing a fascist Russian agenda, and I personally would vote for WW3 and total annihilation 1000x over before I'd contemplate allowing commie fascists (no, that's not an oxymoron) like him to fulfill that agenda.

Neither of those incidents were false flag attacks. Gulf of Tonkin was a BS response to an unknown sonar signal (probably whales) and Nayirah was staged testimony, but neither incident involved massacring hundreds or thousands and then denying everything.

Furthermore, the UN isn't an American proxy, nor are International Red Cross or Medicins Sans Frontieres, Amnesty International and so on, all of whom have accused Assad's forces of severe war crimes on countless occasions or demanded investigations that were thwarted by Assad and his Russian overlords. Completely irrelevant comparison there.
