"Most people" is not sufficient here.

"Most people" aren't tasked with determining the truth or falsehood of a phenomenon of such strong contention.

Photos are simply not sufficient. They are too easily misinterpreted, and too easily faked. That's why one needs a preponderance of evidence.

And no, a bunch of photos from unrelated incidents does not constitute a preponderance.

Look, if there were a report of a Yeti in the Alps, and then a year later a report of a Sasquatch in British Columbia, they do not constitute a single incident with multiple bits of evidence. Each must be analyzed on its own merits.

Imagine if the Alps Yeti one were proven a hoax? Would that mean the other one is automatically proven false too? No. They must be analyzed separately.

You are being naive if you assert that photos can be assumed to be a representation of reality, without a great degree of skepticism.
The internet itself, of course, is an excellent cautionary tale.

"Nothing" but ho-hum reality, true, as opposed to spooks. If you really, really, really want to see spooks you can find them even in the ho-hummest reality.

Just out of curiosity, which of these do you see?

    leprechauns?
    Loch Ness monster?
    Bigfoot?
    Tooth Fairy?
little green men? (We already know - yes.)
    Santa Claus?
    ghosts? (Again, yes.)

If there are some you don't see, why is that? Is it because they don't exist or because you just don't have enough evidence yet?

That is not an ad hom. I am arguing the things you actually say in the thread - that's fair game. I am not arguing you.

    Dave: 1+1=3!
    MR: You don't get math.
Dave: You are ad hom'ing me!

But you simply cannot assert them to be ghosts. You can assert that your interpretation is that they are ghosts.

You can't even tell us what ghosts are!

Ghosts. Because we have a history of ghosts showing up on camera.

I thought you were ignoring me. Is the nonexistence of ghosts so important to you that you would override your ignore button?

This is circular - begging the question.

What makes them ghosts in the first place?

How do you know it's a ghost and not a leprechaun?

Because ghosts are associated with dead persons in that area.

Enough to know that "they just are" is a lousy answer. It shows you haven't put much thought into it.

The peninsula is about 6.27 miles wide right below the Yokosuka naval base. Just to give a scale that wasn't included in the above pix.

You should probably learn what an ad hominem is - along with how human perception works, what constitutes reliable evidence, etc.

By the way, complaining about ad hominems instead of addressing the issue is a logical fallacy.
