This is a list of 1000 Earth and space based observation platforms. Featured are NASA, DOD observatories, University platforms, several corporate media funded observatories, and ESA. That's probably a thousand right? Enjoy.
I know. Lots of links to the observatories themselves. ooooo, look at our equipment. Nothing (almost) for the public to view in live images. Why not? Shouldn't that be one of the focii of the observatories? These platforms were not built for the astronomers. They are simply the technicians. The information the equipment and technicians produce should be available to the masses, and with help of other technicians the information should be available in some real-time worldwide network.
CERN is beholden. They are suppose to follow rules, like don't do anything that endangers humanity. If they attempt to create a black hole they will have violated that rule. But to your point, I'm guessing every experiment they conduct is posted on ArXiv (archive), and if not I'm sure one of the persons doing the work will share it with you if you ask. I don't know the state of their experiment schedule, but if you have a really good one you can get time there. XX please don't spam their resources for bs.
