Are You A Dog Or Cat Person?

It is illegal over here to grow "grass" under lights or any place else for that matter☺

A whole covered patio area has been enclosed with chook wire and dedicated to the cat "Herbie" and little rock gardens installed so he has grass.

There are also now a couple of fish ponds so he has a nice set up even though he cant go right outside.

He likes watching the fish but never tries to put his paw in to catch any.

He only eats cat food and strangley wont eat anything like ham or beef or chicken.

Never has his face in the fridge as soon as it is openned like every other cat I have owned.

After our misunderstanding when he messed up my hand I dont pick him up these days just in case he gets a fright from something and causes me more grief.

I have had lots a cat scrathes and bites but he is way past my experiences.

I believe he is a Norwegian Forrest Cat breed...but he understands English☺

Dogs are too jumpy. I have allergies.

I absolutely cannot resist cats. Most of my friends have cats, and I spend more time with their cats than with them.

I just want to take them and smoooooosh my face in their fuzzy bellies. Despite the fact that my immune system will punish me for several days afterward. Worth it.

I'm a dog person. For some reasons, I 'm afraid of cats.

 

When I was younger I had a pet goldfish. He was not as fun as my dogs but I still liked him. I fed him, cleaned his tank and filter, and sometimes I poked my finger just under the water and he would come to it and kiss it!

 

Did you have a bad experience with a cat, such as a bite or scratch? Maybe that is why you are afraid of them.

 

Dogs have masters, cats have servants.

 

Sometimes cats can be like dogs and dogs can be like cats when it comes to us being their masters or servants!

Yah, I have a 37 pound tomcat who is very dog-like.

My family had, if you can call his possession of us that, a 23 pound yellow tabby named Simba.

He could open doors, and more than once, wounds. I had to get stitches at least twice.

 

That is nice! Before our dog Bailey died I had a ton of funny and silly nicknames for him, that I would use when I would talk to him. I had nicknames for our families first dog Shadow when I was growing up too.

 

Wow! Big cat! I like the name. I have gotten scratches from some of my friends and families cats before.

 

We adopted two kittens back in 2014 and turned out they were littermates. They slept together from day one, same gold color eyes. So we named them Bonnie and Clyde. I took to calling the tom "The Firth of Clyde."

 

He gave me six-stitch rip once. Unknown to me, he was courting a female around the corner from my line of sight.

I reached for him to bring him back into the house. My big mistake. He raked me almost bone-deep on both sides of my hand at one stroke.

At that point, I didn't care if he came inside or not, I just needed 9 stitches, leaking everywhere..
