The flatter Earth would never have sunsets. The sun would remain at the same height and just dwindle in the distance. However, if the flat Earth is accelerating upward at a speed sufficient to give the illusion of one gravity it would have reached the speed of light some time back, right? Or is "c" just another lie from Big Sphere?
now your refering to "skyience" and Skyience is a lie by the government & big agra to trick all the farmers that sunlight really isnt required at all. its just a massive copper dish hoisted up into the air by a large winged Turtle that constantly flys around in circles.
If the flat earth infinite in extent. If not, what would happen if I walked to an edge & stepped off?
Even if someone believes the Earth is flat, at least they've decided for theirself. They haven't just boarded someone else's theory. They've done the work theirself and made their own mind.
Yeah, they wrote their own books, made their own TV shows, put hundreds of blogs and sites on the Internet. Most impressive. Far better than watching one Youtube and thinking one has the TRUTH.
'they' would need to clearly comprehend newtonian physics and be able to offer an alternative theory and then show the workings.
Yep. And that's darned unlikely. Besides, by the time they had learned Newtonian Physics, the errors in their silly idea would already be obvious to them and they would drop it and feel sheepish. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
They could get a ... crash ... course in the laws of gravity by conducting an experiment involving a tall building.
ok test place a marble on the ground observe the marble does not roll ego the ground is flat extrapolating to the whole earth ... the earth seems flat However (having just returned from Sicily) the ground ain't flat ok so------------ it would seem that local observations ain't necessarily indicative of the whole earth
Its a little bump (dent) in the underside of Flat Earth made when one of the elephants we are resting on flipped its tail up to high Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
It wouldn't be quite as impressive if the sea wasn't right there. You get the full 2+ miles of height in your face from Taormina.
I offered a flat earth proponent to look through my solar telescope so he could confirm himself it never changed size sunrise, noon to sunset. He wouldn't do it.
