No, that what i genuine think a vector is, a speed and direction. Or is that a velocity?

In my own little way I know what things are although I might mix them up sometimes.

Velocity is a vector, which is a magnitude (speed) and a direction.

None of which has to do with a light year. There is no direction component to a light year. It is scalar.

And there is nothing wrong with that for yourself. As long as you don't go around asserting false statements to people who don't get them mixed up.

velocity is not a vector because it can be directionless or omnidirectional. there is no distance required for a velocity. it's just rotation like spinning a basketball in whatever direction and whatever speed.

On the evidence available it's quite clear that you don't.

Actually, no. Velocity is a well-defined thing in science. It has a magnitude and a direction component i.e. a vector.
Speed is a scalar. It has a magnitude component only.

The speed of a satellite orbiting the Earth is constant.
The velocity of a satellite orbiting the Earth varies with every moment as it changes direction.

In common use, velocity is often substituted for speed, much like mass and weight. It's fine for casual talk, but in science discussions, one should be more careful.

    Quick Google def'ns:

    Velocity:
    • the speed of something in a given direction
    • (in general use) speed

    THE PHILOCHRON LINE OR PHILOCHRONY

    ....................... Duration
    ------------ b --------------- e ------------> Time

    b = beginning
    e = end

    The past has already happened.
    The future hasn't occurred.
The present is a mnemonic illusion.
Only the philochrony is real (the relation between two events).

Past (non existent) --NOW (EXIST)--Future(non existent)

    NOW exist
It has no thickness (no measurement - it is always NOW)
Past has a thickness (from NOW streaching back to the BEGINNING)
Future will have a thickness (from NOW reaching to the END)

The real NOW already has a name - it is called NOW. Its relationship to Past and Future is - it came from one and becomes the other

Go away with stupid philo phony chrony

    mnemonic
    nɪˈmɒnɪk/
    noun
    1. 1.
a system such as a pattern of letters, ideas, or associations which assists in remembering something.
"the usual mnemonic for star types is O Be A Fine Girl Kiss Me"
    adjective
    1. 1.
aiding or designed to aid the memory.
    Google

So EXACTLY what system such as a pattern of letters, ideas, or associations is there for aiding or designed to aid the memory, and what is it this mnemonic is aiding me to remember?

For definition of time, the present is a mnemonic illusion: Time is
the "continuous succession" of irreversible moments. NOW not exists.

And by the magic of cross pollution we have from the

    What is Magnitive thread

when asked a few questions about this branch (?twig ?thorn) of science which seems only able to make up words for already existing things stated it was a young science

    I ventured

I suspect this branch of "science" will never get out of nappies

I should have gone further and suggested it have a Donald test and physical to ensure it hasn't been dropped on its head at birth

Time exists and is evident all around us, only if you do not understand the meaning of time would one think it does not exist...

Again Time is a CONCEPT and concepts do not exist

I was wrong. You did offer up a discussion point

Time is a quantifiable measurement directly proportional to a change in entropy

The word you are looking for there is AGE. Age is not time.

AGE is a arbitrary measurement between two arbitrary selected NOWs

    Moving on

Explain where TIME originates from please (since you contend time exist it should have a origin)

Well, time originates from humans fear of death, it was an invention to measure time and measure ones own demise. After this it became a measurement to synchronise our everyday lives, a tool to quantify speed over a distance and other things such as age.

Then time changed again, and time became its measurement and time could speed up or slow down.

However, I do not think they considered that a Δf=ΔS.

Where f is frequency and S is entropy.

This gives time physicality, f(t)=ΔS entropy having physicality.

Imagine a snowman, the snowmans time of existence is dependent to the sate of ''his'' entropy.

    The past are memories.
    The future is a dream.
The present is a fleeting illusion.
