I have better discussions to have than wasting my time on somebody who is insulting. Do you not have any positive discussion? That Dy guy is much more considerate and pleasant than you.
Your sexist comment - "typical man with the insults just because they cannot understand something" - is likely what got it moved.
?? So does everyone else. This is in general an abstract discussion; you are dealing with high level concepts rather than concrete events. However, the example you gave was the opposite of abstract. It was a concrete real-world example, where you asked if space either disappears or becomes smaller when the light goes out. That's a concrete, rather than an abstract, question with a concrete answer - no.

'' All these fifty years of conscious brooding have brought me no nearer to the answer to the question, '' What are light quanta? '' Nowadays every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks he knows it, but he is mistaken '‘ / Einstein. 1954 / What is quantum of light ? To give an answer i need to observe quantum of light in a reference frame. The problem is: “ We have the laws, but we are not aware what the body of reference system they belong to, and all our physical construction appears erected on sand ”. / Book “Evolution of Physics” by Einstein and Infeld / =================================
surely you would need to prove dark energy & dark matter have no relationship with Light prior to being able to state that space changes its innate state of size with or without light in it ? given that Light its self is measurable and dark matter is a subtractive inferance...(per say) are we really there yet ? can we say light has no relative or relational effect cause or connectivity to dark energy & Dark matter that we can measure a space that has had light removed ? my laymans understanding is that the concept is cutting edge current theory and not actually being posited as yet.
Nope. Again, nope. You can certainly measure it in other ways; the space does not change when light is removed (other than having no light in it.)
maybe we are talking about 2 different meanings of the word "space"... so i am checking... i do not mean a simulated human perceptive environment for visual perceptive & socio-anthrapological science. i am refering to the very nature of all space, be that the centre of the sun or orbiting Earth etc... a vacuum or the suns Corona you are asserting that the nature(get smaller/change?) of space does not change once light has left it ? were we to define the sun as matter and the space inside that sun as a portion of space, once light has left that portion, would not space change ? or... does "space" mean something else... ? i am unsure of your frame of reference for "space" thus a vacuum in space that has light travel through it... does it inherantly change before or after and or during the transit of the light ?
Yes. We are talking about the objective expanse called "space." I am claiming that the basic characteristics of space (i.e. dimensions within that space, basic physical constants) do not change whether or not it has light in it. No. Why would it? In the example you mention, more light would be following behind it anyway. And if you removed the visible light (i.e. used a solar shield to shadow a section of space) that section of space would not change appreciably. Other than it having photons in it, with their consequent (tiny) mass - no.
