Actually quite funny, as I have always been labeled in general, left of center. I once was a Union delegate and in a long contracted 5 week dispute and strike in the 70's, After 5 weeks we finally reached an agreement. The meeting of the 700 0dd workers unanimously accepted the company offer..UNANIMOUSLY!!! Yet directly after the meeting I had one of the extreme politically motivated members bawl me out for accepting what he termed a paultry off, and labeled me a rotten low bosses man. Later on that arvo, another far more right conservative member came up and labeled me a fucking leftist commo bastard who had cost him 5 weeks wages. I went home that day, relieved that along with my Union, I had done a good job.

If you were deliberately trolling, trying to start fights, you could say that. What you said earlier was at least plausibly a joke.

That's not the case in my neighborhood - except maybe the "minor" adjective. Most women find it unpleasant, mildly irritating, and the like. The hilarity of it wears thin pretty quickly, apparently. So does the alleged harmlessness, after a couple of nastier incidents underscore the implied threat.

You're fooling yourself, if you can't see hostility in that.

How is it that a couple of bad examples or a few overreaches becomes a hijacking of an entire movement?
Come back when it's 50/50 overreach/underplay. At that point the discussion of "going too far" can begin.

I started this thread for the simple fact that another thread had gone over the top, with many adhoms, insults and claims because two people did not strictly align with what another couple saw as fact.
Extremism exists...feminazis within the feminist movement also exist, as do many male chauvinist pigs, that would see the collapse of the genuine feminist movement. In a way, just as what happened in the US after their civil war, with the rise of the Klan and other preventive dogma in the Southern States to what the war was supposed to achieve.

I see feminism for the genuine majority, as achieving total reasonable sexual equality, and I have no qualms against that, considering what equality means and the biological differences between man and woman. Equal opportunity, equal pay for equal work, are the two main goals as I see it. No I have not watched your video...I don't know who the bloke is and I don't really care one way or the other. I have stated what I believe should be adhered to and highlighted the dangers in extremism and feminazism which does exist.
