Welcome. As I have previously posted, the argument between free-will and determinism is futile. If someone States something WILL, then that is determined. It cannot be changed. It simply will. As such any decision made NOW, will come into being. I believe the future is happening at present. However to state something will, relies on a knowledge of the future, which can only be stated by someone from the future... We are reliant on the future to determine what will.
If someone states "something will" then, simply put, they are overreaching. Any prediction has an implicit "I predict that..." in front of it. This is not really philosophy.

The Future , Our Future , depends on our understanding of our selves . Our potential . Our creativity , and our understanding of anything . The ability to find out what the brain/mind can do . And how the manipulation by media upon us can lead us to a Future we should not want .
My understanding is that the 5th dimension holds all possible outcomes, that the timeline is a winding snake, that any choice is probable. I once thought free will a real thing, but it seems more like a menu of options from which you can choose. Yet even then the choice you make is only one of many that exist. Perhaps if reincarnation is a real thing, we live the same life over and over, having many opportunities to explore alternative timelines, making new choices along the way.

How much present is there right now? If you cannot answer, does that mean that - like the future - the present doesn't exist?
Present- as in NOW - is in existence It is in continuous existence, as opposed to discrete existence You will never exist in the future, because the future does not exist As of the current moment we call NOW you do not exist in the past You DID but as they say - that WAS in the past. Doesn't change anything. All the arguments you've made to cast doubt on the existence of the future can also be used to cast doubt on the existence of the present.
