    "OK"

We've come a long way from the Alpha Male though.

Which is probably a good thing.

There needs to be a term for the guy who doesn't want to keep everyone else under this thumb (Alpha) but isn't interested in following anyone else either (Beta). Well adjusted Dude perhaps?

What is the term or concept for all this as it applies to the female? Alpha Bitch? Beta door mat? What is the term for the one that we probably actually want? Attractive Nurturing Feminine Queen?

Physical Tan. The guy who doesn't want to lead and doesn't want to follow, but just wants to be judged on the merit of his work, not on his small talk and social skills?

Ideally, the people who depend on the quality of his work.

Some people are just straight up craftsmen.

i don't really believe in the concept of an alpha male in the op. this is partly due to human's fallibility in judgement due to bias, prejudice, and subjectivity as well as more commonly lack of or lesser intelligence . who is judging will determine how something or someone will be judged just as much.

it was a social experiment to find out what people thought of such ideas.

The Dominance Hierarchy is as old as life itself, and is expressed in many different ways. At its core, maybe, it is a survival tactic to horde resources and ensure reproduction, but in an ever more complex system, it can surface in peculiar ways.

It is hardwired within our biology and affects not only our interactions but also our mental and physical health.

maybe someone like him. my god, he used to be so hot. it's not the color of his eyes, it's what's behind it. the eyes are the window to the soul. some people's eyes are ice cold. there is wisdom, a kindness and something inexplicable behind it. my impression is what makes him attractive is that his eyes are of an old soul who has garnered much wisdom and understanding of humanity which is expressed artistically through his profession. it may not be true but the effect/illusion is lovely nonetheless. he was just beautiful.

i'm not saying that is who he is; that's the impression or comes across and it may or may not be who he is. even i can come across that way when i'm at my best or if i'm drawing on the most noble/evolved/ethical and nurturing/tender parts of my personality but everyone has a dark side. i remember a co-worker asking me once out of the blue if i was spiritual because i can unconsciously get into that kind of zone easily where i give off ethereal type of vibes and look through things or people it seems. it's usually that i'm focused on something else in the back of my mind no matter what is going on in front of me.

    i liked this character.

omg, i have such good taste in men. well, everything. i am fascinated by what is beautiful or unique i see anywhere or in anyone.
