How could human beings move out of Africa with so many large, fierce animals?

When the air, oceans and even the burrows on land was inhabited with creatures a hundred times bigger in size and in varieties. Monsters, fiercier, faster and demonic.
When even the earth worms could put todays normal Anaconda to shame.

When humans could never ever come out to broad day light and lived ,more like rats, with dark the only cover, in constant fear of bein scooped off to air by a small sized flying bird if taken two steps outside.

What happens when a pack of snakes, just decides to enjoy the warm sun in our neighbour hood. Humans'd have had the same fate.

If so, how come modern scientists just get to the inference that humans could walk the walk all the way out of Africa to all parts of earth?

You seem to be talking about a world that never existed.

In my neighbor hood the snakes would get warm, so you are saying we would also get warm if we sunned ourselves?

The scientist believe this because that is what the evidence shows. [shrug]

When were earth worms the size of Anacondas?

It helps to read sometimes as well as "thinking". Man and dinosaurs didn't occupy Earth at the same time so that kills one part of your scenario.

As has been pointed out, science think what they think because that's where the evidence points them.

For a science forum, it's interesting that most of the threads start out in an anti-science vein.

These migrations happened quickly in geological terms, but very slowly in human terms. If you had 2000 years to get from Africa to India, you only have to move now and then to the next valley over or something once a generation. Which means all the local dangers were well known.

Is it unreasonable to request that this thread be moved to free thoughts.
I suspect geek may be relying on evidence found in the creationist museum where displays indicate humans and dinosaurs lived at the same period in time approximately 6000 years ago.

There is another place called Arc encounter that shows humans and dinosaurs on Earth about 5000 years ago.
Maybe this thread should be moved to religion.

Anacondas are much bigger but certainly they are big Earth worms.
The scientists do research as you must know and the evidence points to humans first appearing in Africa and over time moving to other parts of the world.
If you google something like "first humans" or perhaps "Humans out of Africa" you will find all you wish to know.
I must ask which of the animals you think humans had to fear you describe as demonic?
I think that is an unusual choice of words as it relates to demons which are fictional.

Your scenario seems pretty far-fetched - but even IF it was true, they could have moved at night, couldn't they?

Modern scientists think they moved through the tunnels made by the giant earthworms, and had the giant birds trained to carry them sometimes. (like modern falconers train eagles)

They could move anywhere they liked God would have looked after them.
Probably even gave them something to follow like a pilliar of light in the sky.
Although non believer s probably were taken by giant rats.
Mods please move this thread to someplace else as it does not belong in the science section.

    When was this?

Are you thinking about dinosaurs and the like?

Human beings never co-existed with dinosaurs.

That never happened. By the time we were recognisably human, we were already one of the largest mammals on the planet. Birds were not a threat.

Snakes mostly stay away from human beings.

Fossil and archeological evidence. Also genetic evidence.

Did you visit the bible museum and taken their 'humans coexisted with dinosaurs' seriously?

    Ermm what?

    Jurassic Park maybe?

Because none of this is real or makes sense..

Umm we leave them alone and they then slither away back into the bush.

Because they could and they did..

The evidence shows that they did.

Y'all are taking this all wrong...

The OP is talking about that time when humans were only about four inches tall - nothing to do with dino's and such.

    Get it together...

    (lol - couldn't stop myself)
