Diphthong - sound formed by the combination of two vowels in a single syllable, in which the sound begins as one vowel and moves toward another (as in coin, loud, and side ).
    • a digraph representing the sound of a diphthong or single vowel (as in feat ).
    • a compound vowel character; a ligature (such as æ ).

Aperture -- from Latin aperire, to open. Meaning an opening. In physics it means a hole in a potential barrier, it has a continuous boundary, this hole.
In fact the boundary of the hole can be any continuous function of physical variables (it could be a limit, like the speed of sound, or light).

A world known only as the twilight zone of continuous boundaries (through which 'flow' occurs).

Cleave I believe would be one of those words

    http://www.dabhand.org/Word Studies/Cleave.htm

The meaning of the Biblical word 'cleave' is relatively complex and this is exacerbated by the unfortunate fact that in English the word is capable of two almost entirely opposed meanings both of which were used by ........

.......,..For the purposes of clarity I will deal first with cleave meaning to split which occurs only in the Old Testament and then progress to the joining form of cleave which is used in both testaments
