it is just an assumption.i am not good with science either but lets post it anyway.i think that flow of liquid can solved if we assume that each water molecule posses it own gravity or force of attraction.which is very small. which when exceeded, it falls apart from other molecules and tends to join another molecule which again join another. this cycle repeats itself. considering that frictional force between molecules is almost zero. the flow of water may be explained. we should also consider that until force of attraction is broken water cannot move.like when water is frozen its force becomes much greater.so it it safe to assume that this force of attractions increases when temperature decreases and decreases when temperature rises. so expansion of universe may also be due to possession of unstable energy. thank you. if it helps anyone let me know.I'm a 6th dimension being possessing human body.lol....
The quantum forces play a lot more than something like gravity on such a small scale. Like an electron.
On the scales of molecules, out of the four fundamental forces the electromagnetic one is dominant, so that's much more likely to influence the behavior of water-molecules than gravity is.
I was going to say that the relevant forces are just electrostatic, but then I realised there are also "forces" due to exchange interactions (Pauli Principle etc) which are purely quantum-mechnical in nature and which are equally crucial to the structure and behaviour of matter.
