It was a tanker truck, filled with explosives, detonated in Kabul's government district near the Presidential Palace and several foreign embassies. It left a crater in the street that looks maybe 10 feet deep. Death toll 90 and rising. Some 400 wounded and that will probably rise as well. The Germans just say that there are "a number" of casulties.
