    Do prophets hallucinate?

I don't believe in prophets. Those that people called "prophets"were just ordinary people. Ordinary people hallucinate. Therefore "prophets" hallucinate.

You shouldn't. John was a raving loonie. But plenty of Very Serious Biblical Scholars have interpreted it already. Apocalypse is always a hoot.

Google him, he is a well known magician.
He is part of a show "Fool me." He and his partner Teller review magic acts and magicians try and fool them and they work out how the trick was performed.
Are you saying to look for as sign but even you dont know what it is? I dont understand what you are saying.
Isnt prophesy about the future? Have you not in the past mentioned it to me?

I said it didn't take visions or hallucinations to figure that out. When there's an elephant in the room, you don't need visions or hallucinations to figure out that you might get stepped on. Some Biblical prophecy was just a matter of pointing out the elephant in the room.

They do not hallucinate. They just cook up stories. They certainly have most fertile imagination.

Yes I did mention to you, and I stand behind what I mentioned , but will not elaborate more. Since people don't believe , why bring it so people will make , no way.

I don't think all should be generalized , there are false prophets and not false like in all segments in life.

Prophesy = Large events , small events ( personal ), admonishments for members . Are you familiar with prophecy ? Large events prophecy are in the bible for large future that will involve big change for humanity.

There is two ways to interpret prophesies. One interpretation, which is the most common, interprets prophesies as being connected to an external set of events that will change culture and human nature. The other approach is prophesies are connected to an internal set of events, that can change the person, inside.

As internal events, prophesy would be analogous to symbolic command lines for the brain's operating system; system upgrade. The command lines can trigger something in the mind and imagination, which can cause certain people to start walking to the beat of their own internal drum, prothetic drama unfolds internally. This is quite common.

The external scenario has yet to occur. While semblances of the internal scenario has occurred in many different cults over the years. For example, the ISIS terrorists have their own internal drama of faith, that runs parallel to their interpretation of the prophesies of Mohammad. Their actions, driven by their internal drama, has an impact on the external world; terror and war. This may not end in the same way they interpreted the command lines. It will still push buttons, but the buttons that are pushed are not the correct combination to open the safe.

As far as the prophets, they are spontaneously induced to find the combination; John of Revelations. But this did not trigger external events. This was an internal beginning, and not the external end. It was not meant to be an external induction but a way to internally use command lines, to bring their minds to a future place; visionary. They go from Windows 10 to 11.

The analogy would be if you could go back into time and live a year with the ancients. Because you are from the future, your brain's operating system has many upgrades compared to your friends. You can see where things will head based on history, changes in mind and attitudes connected to this history. You may try to prepare others for that future, in an accelerated way, but that can make you a witch. The prophet does not typically trigger external events, but discusses these changes and leaves behind the keys; command lines, for others to open the door, when the update is ready.

In Revelations, there is a sequence of steps, of increasing stress and atrocity, which in the end changes humans. This symbolizes is an operating system upgrade, where first you need a clean uninstall, before installation, to prevent virus carryover.

Could be either. But, how about us? Can't we also have ''revelations?'' But no one writes about our revelations. lol Why aren't there any modern day revelations to speak of?
