I think Trump is doing a good job, in spite of the all the sabotage, hostility and conspiracy theory being promoted by the Democrats. When Obama was elected, he was given the red carpet treatment to make changes. He did not get the same level of resistance from as many conspiracy theorists. Obama had open resistance from a few talk radio hosts who were themselves targeted by the left to silence them. Obama would have collapsed with this much irrational and angry resistance. Trump is a tough cookie and has been able to plow forward with a wide ranging agenda, in spite of constant misrepresentation and anger. Picture if Hilary had to take Trump's place, and be the victim of the left, instead of being pampered by the left. The left has no morals and will cheat. She may have cracked already. Trump plays along, and even throws the left bones to pick, to keep them busy with a new conspiracy theory. In the background, he plows forward and gets the job done. Every now and then he looks up and Tweets a bone to pick. We need one adult in the room.
Trump also has trouble with the congressional republicans who want to pass their agendas and not his. Just because he thinks that he was elected to lead doesn't mean that the republican congress thinks alike.
Yes, Trumper has problems leading some Republican members of Congress. But I don't understand why you think it relevant. Trump has been in office for only a few days and already, under his leadership, the Republican Party has become fractured.
In matters of either rhetoric or logic, it can sometimes be difficult to parse the difference 'twixt fallacy and necessity. To wit, there is a rhetorical principle of charity, though I am uncertain on this occasion how to apply it. To the other, though, between ad hominiem or straw man there is occasionally some merit in looking, as they say in Tinseltown, track record, track record, track record. And while it's not quite a fallacy, making the case has the effect of piling on. I mean, if we start with the idea that one's response to questions of domestic, intimate, and sexual violence, is to complain about black people and Democrats, the point is to wonder at what one means by the phrase "adult in the room". I don't know, we could add up however many years of delusions about women, transgender, and homosexuals, too. And so on. Heady romanticizing aside, what, really, are the criteria for declaring Donald Trump any manner of proverbial adult in the room? This seems like another toy phrase Republicans picked up along the way and really, really want to use but don't quite know how. Kind of like condemnation of rape, slavery, and the Holocaust, and this weird supremacist envy arising now and then in conservative quarters that covets our empathy and compassion toward victims and survivors of extraordinary injustice. We need to stop picking on crocodiles and call the tears what they really are, bully blubbering. The ACA isn't slavery; as much as I sympathize with the disappointment I don't get to back the Trump voter I heard on either the local or nightly national news saying he felt raped by the White House budget sketch; human rights for women, transgender, and homosexuals is not the rise of the Fourth Reich.

You mean like Benghazi, Hillary's emails, the IRS, Obama's birth certificate, Fast and Furious, death panels, Obama's gonna get your gun, Solyndra, or any of the other manufactured right wing conspiracies of the last 8 years? The fact is Republicans have been promoting hostility and conspiracies for decades. They have even gone so far as to create a conspiracy about the routine economic reports produced by the government. When Trump was a candidate, he decried these same reports and fictions. But now that he is POTUS, suddenly and magically they are credible, e.g. unemployment reports. Truth and honesty aren't left wing conspiracies comrade. Just what conspiracies do you think Democrats are promoting? And please be specific. Of course you believe Trump is going a great job. You believe much that simply isn't true. You'd believe he did a great job if he demolished the nation. That's a pretty damn low bar. Trump has been caught in a number of lies. That's on him; that's not on Democrats. Who gave him that "red carpet" to make changes? What does that even mean? Most Americans didn't vote for Trump. They voted for Democrats. Trump's party now controls Congress and the White House. They can make changes. But the party has fragmented under Trump's leadership, and has been unable to deliver on their promises. At this point, it is doubtful Republicans will be able to get Trumpcare through Congress. Do you really want to make comparisons between Obama and Trump? When Obama came to office the nation's economy was shrinking at an annualized rate of 10% and we were losing nearly a million jobs a month. Obama inherited a disaster which hadn't been seen since the Great Depression. Congressional Republicans refused to cooperate on anything: even things they favored. We haven't seen that kind of opposition since the Civil War. That's not what Democrats have done. It's long past time for you to be honest comrade. The left has no morals...? You need to look again, and you need to pay particular attention to your favorites like The Donald. When I hear folks like you make that argument, I'm reminded of Matthew 7:5 "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." You need to take a long and serious look at yourself. But I don't think you can do it. You are just mindlessly believing. I doubt you have the capacity to think critically.
