So...gravity is pseudoscience and electromagnetism is real?

    No.

I have not and will not watch 25 minute videos of unknown provenance, but there is no reason to think that gravity is pseudoscience. The concept of gravity, as articulated by Newton, is in agreement with a huge range of observational evidence and successfully predicts a huge range of physical phenomena, from the weight of objects to celestial mechanics. It is thus, by any reasonable criterion, science and not pseudoscience.

It is true that Newton's concept was shown later by Einstein to have defects, resulting in the modern Einstein theory of gravitation in General Relativity, but that emphatically does not make Newtonian gravity "pseudoscience". It just makes it a less complete model of reality than GR is. In science we often use simplified models for convenience, in situations where the complexity of the full treatment is not worth the hassle. For most purposes, Newton's gravity is what science uses to this day - and that is why it is taught in all our schools. If it were "pseudoscience" it would not be taught, e.g. as, say, creationism and astrology are not taught.

Tesla, though a very clever man with many scientific contributions to his credit, became very eccentric in later life from trying to stretch electromagnetism further than it would go. The result, unfortunately, is that posts or videos with the word "Tesla" in them today are more likely than not to be the work of cranks. Since your video seems to contain both "Tesla" and "flat earth" in the title, that seems likely to be the case here.

What was your problem with watching it? are you afraid your brain would be too impressionable? he is just saying electromagnetism answers for 'observational evidence' as well as or better than what 'gravity' is which even physicists admit they do not know what the heck it is but a segway or placeholder at the moment.

I do not have 25 minutes to waste watching sh1t, that's all. If you can summarise the claim or the argument in a paragraph I can read in 30 seconds, I'll happily engage with it and debate it. But maybe you are too lazy to do that, huh?

I had a quick look and before I gave up it appeared it was promoting a flat Earth.

    Maybe later.
Did you ever run into or hear of the time cube.. The guy was rated as the top nutter on the net a decade ago.

    No

But your reference to being the top nutter has prompted a thought bubble

Will work on it and will send it as a PM as I think it could be a winner (hint) and I don't want it stolen

So basically most of you are just trolling the fringe sections. Alright, i get it. But it also tells me how narrowminded and stupid you are to not be able to realize there could be some good points that even those who don't agree with you or have other theories have. He does make some really good points that should make anyone with a brain cell question the status quo of science which it alway should be self questioning but of course, unless a known science leader gives you a green light, you won't do that since you are snobs, more like social cowards afraid to just be individual like it's going to hurt to see what someone has to say. I guess it takes more brain power to be able to filter what you read, see or hear. lmao

Wow you read me like a book.
How can we think anything other than the group consensus on pain of ridicule.

Where would we be if we followed new ideas. Change is bad so lets not rock the boat.
What ideas did you find interesting, if you like them maybe I could like them as well assuming everyone else likes them.

Just joking but please tell me what you liked in the clip... I turned off when he started into flat Earth.
Was there a ything in it about Tesla or was that a name drop to get folk to look.

Just tell us what these really good points are and we can discuss.

But it is not "snobbish" to ignore the ravings of a nutter on the street corner. And that is what this looks like, "flat earth" and all.

Where is the real difference between gravity and electromagnetism?

Gravity acts on electrically neutral matter, whereas electromagnetism is to do with charged bodies, and it acts at far longer range than electromagnetism.

If any of you had bothered to skip past a few minutes, it is not about flat earth but that has all of you afraid like its kryptonite to superman.

According to the clip, gravity is not separate from electromagnetism. It's all one.

How do they get an attractive force, that is never repulsive, exerted by electrically neutral bodies?

    Trolling no

    Narrow minded no

    Stupid no

could be some good points Law of averages - experience - past history no no no

does make some really good points he doesn't and won't

that even those who don't agree with you or have other theories have does not compute

a brain cell question the status quo of science I lay claim to 2 brain cells and I do take the default position of science to question everything however the default position re woo is to dismiss it

unless a known science leader gives you a green light, you won't do that since you are snobs yes I will question a known scientist no I am not a snob

more like social cowards afraid no and no

to just be individual I am as individual as anybody can get

like it's going to hurt to see what someone has to say not going to hurt but will waste time

I guess it takes more brain power to be able to filter what you read, see or hear my two neurones handle critical thinking and detection of woo exceptional well

May I offer some advice which you should double check with your own health professional

You might want to lay off eating fatty foods for a time as you appear to have lost a lot of bile in your post

Why does saturn have rings and jupiter doesn't if gravity is real?

No, let's take one thing at a time. First, let's deal with my question to you about the claim that gravity and electromagnetism are one.
