I've watched many good movies at least twice....In particular I have watched the greatest sci/fi movie of all time, at least a dozen times, and read the book twice.
    I speak of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

More than twice? Probably most films I own. Too many to list here, that's for sure, and there are probably many I can no longer remember having watched more than twice.

I've watched Conan the Barbarian (1982) probably a hundred times or more. I used to watch it once a week until I wore out my VHS copy.

I've watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) dozens of times. I have it on DVD now, so I'm good until I wear out the player.

I've watched my collection of Arthur Askey and Will Hay movies many times.

One movie I've never been able to sit through is Doctor Zhivago.

The Questor Tapes was a mistake. I don't think I've seen that thrice.
I didn't want to make the 1st list too long or I would've included all 3 Eastwood spaghetti westerns.
I nearly said all westerns with Sam Elliot or Tom Selleck but today I heard of 1 Elliot western, The Desperate Trail, that I don't recall seeing.
I don't know Askey or Hay. I will look them up.

The only one that I can remember actually going to the movies and paying to see more than once was "Stripes"

It's a silly movie but yes, I enjoyed it. I like Bill Murray and the idea of Bill Murray joining the military was very entertaining.

"The Wizard of Oz" -- back in the 1950s and 60s they showed it on TV every year at Easter time. I miss it, but apparently not enough to buy the DVD.

"The Lone Ranger" -- the recent production, if there's more than one.

"The Muppet Movie" -- only twice... so far. Obviously also "The Dark Crystal."

I wouldn't mind seeing "Where's Papa?" "Brewster McCloud," "Grand Torino," "Ghostbusters" (the original) and "Avatar" again. I'm sure there are a few others.

Yes, it is silly, maybe even stupid but it's good fun.
I paid to see it at the theater then saw it on TV years later. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

    .

I miss it too & It's A Wonderful Life. Weren't there a couple others which were shown every year? I can't recall what they were.

I think the reason I actually paid to see it a few times is it came at a point where we were going to cheap afternoon movies many Saturdays at a theater close to where we lived. I think Bill Murray is funny, I think the military is silly and apparently I didn't like the other choices on one or two occasions thus the multiple viewings.

I also remember that it was the first half of the movie that I liked. The second half was just stupid and not nearly as funny. The scenes in basic training in and around the barracks were funny. The romp in Europe was just stupid.

    OMG.
Sideshow, I always thought you were American? Just can't picture an American watching Arthur Askey and Will Hay movies.
Not many films I go out my way to watch twice or more, those I can think of now are...
Shadow Makers ( UK title) Fat Man and Little Man (US).
    DR. Strangelove
    Tombstone (1993)
Zulu. (1963, it's older than me, but I think it's great).
    Zulu Dawn. (1979).
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (old and later version). Like to sing along with the old version.
